   This is my first post in over a year. I had to leave the group due to
volume, and a host of real-life problems that needed to be dealt with.

   This is an Alt-universe prompted by not remembering exactly what happened,
and by my dislike and distrust of one of the main characters.

I don't know, the main problem with your thesis is is that Genma didn't tell the Tendous and Ranma about the promise before Nodoka shows up he's just trying to get the hell out of there with Ranma. Nodoka tells the Tendous about the promise and she has the contract on her.

Otherwise, what the hell go for it.
