Here's chapter 9. Is ANYONE reading this. I don't think anyone is
anymore. Sigh. If anyone is reading, give me a sign, I'm really dying
for any sign that anyone is reading this.
Well if anyone is reading this, Enjoy! *_*

                                    Chapter 8: Hell's fireworks.

In the deep corner of a Universe, a fleet appeared from another
dimension. No fleet in mankind's history had been so big. Over three
billion ships moving in, massive ships, most carrying over fifty
fighters. There was a large variety of ships, over eight thousand
different kinds and over three hundred different fighter types from
bombers to interceptors.
This fleet was enough to level a who Galaxy with but one blast of
all it's weapons. Spread out this fleet took up about half a Galaxy, and
they were about to meet another fleet. About to show this other fleet
the power o f the Reality Police.
The ships waited for about ten minutes until a fleet appeared to
confront the Reality Police's main fleet. This fleet was only about two
billion strong. They were pretty much equal to the Reality Police's
ships. Which meant an unfair fight.
There was a brief moment of silence until the battle began. And it
was a massive battle at that. Billions of ships maneuvering out of the
way of shots, firing back at other ships. Fighters being deployed and
being shot down. Nothing could be seen except explosions.
The defensive shields on these ships were almost useless when
fighting so many ships. When a thousand shots hit one ship, no shield
was powerful enough to stop it. This was the equivalent of millions of
wars.
A flash of blue light appeared around the Reality Police's ships,
and then a whole fleet moved out of the blueness. Now the Reality
Police's forces were boxed in, and getting pummeled. The enemies fleet
size had tripled and they were now winning the battle.................
I looked around the cockpit of my fighter and wondered if this thing
would work. I had never really tested my fighter out in combat, but I
was sure it would work.
I then heard a voice over the communicator. I punched it through to
the view screen, it was General Matthews. "So. Why are you using a
fighter? It doesn't take much for one to be shot down. My flag ship
could easily level that thing with little trouble."
Smiling, I set course for a Victory class battleship, one of the
most powerful ships in the Reality Police's fleet. "I'll show you what
this fighter can do. I built it myself."
"I'll be watching then." And so he broke of communication.
My ship accelerated to full combat speed, about half the speed of
light. I moved in on the massive blue ship. It was about 600 square
kilometers in size and had enough armaments to destroy Earth eighty
times over in one shot with all it's weapons. It was proof that mankind
was a being of destruction equal to that of the gods.
My ship, which I named "Deus" was only a small ships, just enough
room for two people if it had a full supply of weapons.
Shooting down three enemy fighters my ship moved in for the kill.
Heading towards the Victory class ship at full speed I fired off two
missiles which went flying of the wings of my ship. I watched as they
soared towards the ship and made direct contact with it.
After a second there was a ripple and then the shield seemed to
shatter like glass. It fell apart around the ship leaving it vulnerable
to enemy attacks. Specifically, my attacks. I opened fire with my ships
weapons and watched as the hull was torn to shreds and there was an
explosion.
The explosion could probably be seen from thousands of kilometers
around. it was almost like hell's fireworks.
A call came in from my double so I quickly but him on the monitor.
He had a surprised look on his face as though he had seen a ghost. "What
the hell was that? How did you take out that ship with that fighter."
I smiled as I shot down a fighter and dodged a shot coming from
behind. "It's the missiles, they're shield destroying."
"But shield destroying missiles became useless after the frequency
shifting shield was invented."
"The missiles I use basically use the frequency shift device in
them, when they impact with the shield they don't explode, they are
explosive free. They take about a second and read the frequency of the
ships shields. They then send out a electronic pulse at the same
frequency as the shields which shatters the shield."
"Amazing, how did you invent it?"
    "Secret."
"And how do you stop it?"
"Another secret. Now we have a battle to fight, so let's go."
"So true. Well see you, if you stay alive."
"I don't die if you don't." And then we both stopped the
transmission.
I'm glad he didn't force the issue of how to stop the missiles,
because it was rather easy to stop. Besides obviously intercepting it,
there's another way. If you hit it with a small magnetic burst, it
shorts out all the circuits, therefore making it useless.
Locking onto an enemy fighter, Honor class, I fired off three
missiles. They zoomed towards the target but were intercepted by the
shots from a large ship that was above the Honor class fighter.
As the fighter got away, my scanners relayed the image of the ship
in front of me. It was a, Demon class war ship. The most powerful ship
in the Reality Police's fleet. This ship had a crew of over sixty
thousand. It had everything that could ever be needed everywhere,
including the very annoying dampening field.
This dampening field was a new invention, and rather bulky. It could
not be stopped by any known method though, and therefore prevented me
from getting an in depth scan. And most likely stopping the shield
destroying missiles from working. Great, just great.
I brought my ship up to pretty much the same height as the enemy
ships. The odds were against me, but I was reckless, and I do admit
that.
I moved in for the kill, dodging dozens of shots from both the ship
and it's fighter escorts. The ship itself was vulnerable to small ships,
it was meant for taking out the big ones. That's why they always came
with an escort of at least fifty fighters. Which was bad, very, very,
bad.
Making a sharp turn right I fired off all my Hellfire missiles at
once, about twenty of them. They were only small things, but that meant
that you could fire more of them, and therefore better when fighting
multiple targets.
The missiles went off in an explosion of pure fire. All ships within
the blast were incinerated totally, leaving no noticeable debris.
Then I took a shot to my left and right wing. From all this combat
my overall shield integrity was 36%. And that meant it would only take a
shot or two from that Demon class ship to reduce my ship to scrap.
Taking a sharp left, then a right turn I fired off ever single
missile I had, about thirty of them. They went flying g towards half a
dozen different targets and obliterated them all except for the Demon
Class ship.
I decided then for a suicide charge. And why not? What's wrong with
being a little reckless? Nothing. Sure, I may lose my life, but I
wouldn't bet on it. I have at least nine lives. Maybe ten, you can never
tell.
I could see the giant before me, all painted black with the Reality
Police's insignia painted onto it in blue. This ship could easily level
my fighter, no matter how many advances I have made. But it was worth a
try.
Arming my shield destroying pulse I fired at the ship. The shield
destroying pulse was nowhere near as effective as the shield destroying
missile, but it still had its uses. The shield destroying pulse was
fired and constantly shifted frequency once it hit the target. It shifts
frequencies for about 0.1 of a second and then dissipates. If it reaches
the right frequency, then the shields shatter. But the chances are slim,
considering there are over 560000000 frequencies and each shot can only
scan about 70000. But the weapon fires at least that many shots a
minute, which helps improve the odds. While the fact that the enemy
ships shields change frequency at about 100 frequencies per second.
My ship took a shot at my back side, there was an enemy at six
o'clock. I let loose some of my ships back weapons. When they fired they
all hit directly on target and destroyed the enemy fighter. One down,
thousands to go.
I flew along the hull of the Demon class ship, firing away with all
my ships guns. But from what I could tell, nothing was effecting it very
much. Letting loose a few bombs I decided to pull up.
As my ship moved up, It was hit, then again, then again. There were
half a dozen fighters on my tail, and now my shields were down to 4%. I
couldn't take much more of this. Another shot and my fighters shields
would be down. Two or three more shots afterwards would destroy my ship.

My fighter pulled down and dropped a few mines behind me, hoping
they would at least slow the enemy down. But it didn't, these were
excellent pilots. They flew straight through the mines without setting
off even one.
Firing off all my fighters back weapons, I realized that I couldn't
take them all. This was it, I am totally screwed.
The ships behind me then vanished off my scanner screen. I checked
behind my ship and noticed a large warship closing in on the Demon class
ship. I then received a communication from the ship. "Seems you were
taking quite a beating, thought I could lend a hand. Leave that monster
to me." It was Phillip.
"No way, you're not going to hog all the glory. That ships mine, no
matter what."
"Your little fighter against that. That little ship of yours may be
powerful, but it's not strong enough to take out that thing. Just take
on the fighters instead."
"Not on your life. See you later." I then cut of communication.
Setting a collision course with the enemy Demon ship, Deus went full
speed towards it. I was going to take this thing down one way or
another.
I drained al power from the ships anti-shield pulse weapons and put
them towards my main energy weapons. And fired everything I had at them,
but to little affect. My guess was their all around shield integrity was
about 40-50%, and I was almost out of firepower. My weapons needed an
energy boost, and one quickly.
And so to conserve energy, I changed the controls to work for the
emergency backup weapons. Chemically propelled bullets, filled with
explosive charges. I pulled the trigger and the bullets fired at the
ship. Hundreds of them made contact with the enemy ship, put none
penetrated the shields.
Then my fighters shields went down. I looked down at the damage
control monitor to see that shields were down and the escape pod was
damaged. As were engines and back weapons. It seemed things were not
going to get any better. One more shot and I would be finished.
Only one thing left to do. I pulled the reality device off my arm
and took some of the energy weapons I brought with me. I couldn't
teleport any in, since there was a jamming field up that prevented any
use of time or dimensional travel.
I then grabbed some cables from around the cockpit using one hand,
while steering with another. I hook them all up to the ship and feed the
power into it. I waited a few seconds until all the power had drained
out of it. I looked at the screen to see if anything had improved, and
it had. All weapons were charged up to half power and shields were back
up to 29%.
Now it was time to get back to the battle................
Captain Mores sat down at the chair as his Hero Class carrier was
getting attacked by an enemy fighter squadron. They, all the Reality
Police's fleet was out numbered and now outgunned. Defeat was only
around the corner. And he was not going to sacrifice his crew on some
insane order. "Bring the ship out of here, the battles lost."
The man at the ships main controls turned around and protested. "But
captain. Myila gave everyone a direct order to stay and fight to the
last man."
"I know Ensign. But do you want to die. We'll take the punishment,
but we will not die. Make a dimensional jump."
"Yes sir." The Ensign fiddled with the controls for a minute and
then stopped. "Captain! The Reality Device is not working. We're being
jammed."
The Captain leaned back on the chair and looked at the three
dimensional image of his ship. The shields were breached in half a dozen
places, and the ship had taken serious hull damage. Shields, down to
13%. Hull, at 46%. Weapons, 24%. And engines, 22%. "Put full power to
engines and shield. Fire everything off at the Enemies biggest, best
ship. Set a course for the ships center. We're going to ram it."
Half a dozen people made a protest but the Captain stood next to his
decision. "We're dead anyway's. Our fleet is losing, we might as well
take as many to hell with us as we can. Or will you all just sit here
and get picked off?"
No one afterwards disagreed, and so ended the Captains career, in a
blaze of glory...............
Myila looked at the status report and then ripped it apart
screaming. "Damn it! Our fleet was destroyed"
Mr. Marlex sighed, he hated when she was in these moods, which was a
lot of the time. "Calm down General, what we need is another offensive
strike, everything we have."
The General shook her head. "No. Now we play defensive. We don't
have enough forces to launch a massive offensive."
Mr. Marlex nodded and frowned. "And is that your final decision,
Myila Marila?"
    "Yes it is, Mr. Marlex."
Mr. Marlex quickly pulled out a gun and fired at the General's head.
It exploded, splattering blood and all over the back wall. "Well then,
looks like we need a new leader. Good day, General." And so Mr. Marlex
calmly left the room.
