Not true. Remember, Evangelions have the AT field, which is more then
strong
enough to withstand an N2 mine. (N2 standing Non Nuclear. Basically an
Atom
bomb without the radiation.) Not only that, but the Evangelions are quite
possibly twice as fast and have twice the reaction speed of a Mech. The
Evangelion with battery packs and with their AT field deployed can easily
take
out any number of Mech's as they want in hand to hand combat. Mechs do not
have
an unpenetrable force field, all they have is armor. Armor which a prog
knife
(is that the correct name?) can easily cut through, which an Evangelion can
dig
through. Don't forget, Mech's aren't capable of picking up a building and
throwing it at their opponents like an Evangelion can.
All true. And Eva's are quite capable of carrying weapons in their hands.
They don't even have to use batteries, S2 engines would serve just as well,
or better.
There is also the matter of size. A Mech is around 10-20 Meters tall,
while an
Evangelion..... I have no freaking clue. I spent an hour looking for that
info, but it seems I'm just unlucky and can't find it. I am going to
assume,
however, that the Evangelions are either the same size or they are larger.
Of
course I could be wrong.
MUCH larger. I don't recall where, but I remember reading that they were
about two hundred feet... sixty five meters and change.
