in order for the author to lecture the audience through the character.

Yes, I blew it, I didn't get the point right. No, I
wasn't preaching, just putting the poem in Kuno's mouth.
It felt like the kind of language he would use. Everybody
puts Shakespeare in him, so I thought "why not this?"
