Broadcast 2: Pokemon Killings Escalate

The FFN Network logo appears on the screen, then fades away to a
female sitting behind a news desk. She looks up, as the lights
come up to normal intensity.
"We interrupt your usual broadcast of 'Ranma and the Cat who
held him', for this special bulletin." She turns towards another
camera, and the holographic system behind her activates, displaying
Pokebits falling from the sky. Heavy firepower is also seen.
"Evidently, several members of the community turned their sights,
gunsights that is, on Pokemon. Due to recent shortages of targets
in the greater Tokyo area, small Pokemon are being purchased from
trainers at great expense, and subsequently destroyed in various
manners, the most prevalent being excessive armaments."
The holoimage changes to display some guy in a suit, and the
Pokemon League seal behind him. "Pokemon League officials have
issued a request for citizens to cease this wanton murder of
rare Pokemon. Area retailers state they are willing to exchange
any uncommon type with a more available one."
Statistics now cover the display, showing a rapid decrease in
Pokemon sightings within the wilderness. "At this current rate
of destruction, experts believe most species of Pokemon will
be impossible to find in the wild in two weeks. To counteract
this threat to such a lucrative profit-mine, err, I mean a
natural treasure, local authorities have dispatched the GSDF and
elements of the 1st Hyland Guards of the SLDF/HMI military."
The holoimage vanishes, and the camera refocuses on the
woman. "Remember, Pokemon are your friends. We now return
you to your regularly scheduled spamfic."

Nene: ... (Pulls a latch and holds her hands over her ears.)
Jigglypuff: Twee-Twee-Teee...
(Priss raises her palm cannon, and commences firing: *BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM*
*BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM*
The remnants of Jigglypuff fall limply to the ground)
Jigglypuff: *splat*
Priss: Pull.
Nene:...
Pikachu: Pika--
Priss: *BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM*
Pikachu: *splat*
Priss: Pull...

turnovers."
