As for your writing and mood development skills,
it was superb, save that I could not find any reason
for Dr. Fell to actually like Akane enough to spare
her (of course, if he tried to slaughter her, he would
most probably get his butt kicked by Ranma...). Also,
these two series seem incompatible as a crossover,
since "reality level" are too different. You achieved
your purpose of spooking the readers, but it was just
a little unbelievable, you know?
I got the distinct impression that it was his intent to kill/prepare
Ranma, but spared him because he saw true love between Ranma/Akane.
This begs the question as to HOW he could kill/prepare Ranma. The only
way I could think of is if he took him totally by surprise... which he
might very well do, seeing how silently he can move. If Ranma had any
warning at all, he'd frankly make paste out of Lecter.
It's true... the reality levels are very disparate. Hannibal Lecter is
terrifying by real world standards, but Ranma and company don't live in
the real world. Ranma has repeatedly survived, even shrugged off things
that would maim or outright kill a normal person.
