I recently read manga vol.28 (The Ranma imposter storyline etc.),
and noticed something rather interesting in the follow-up story,
something I am yet to see in any fic.
In this story Happosai's age seems to be catching up, so he makes
a potion to restore his health. One of the crucial ingredients for this
potion are tears from a being both male and female (eg. Ranma.)
Eventually he gets Ranma to cry (via usage of a certain pressure point,)
but things get slightly out of hand and it is Ranma who must restore
Happosai - by nearly drowning him into a bucket full of Ranma's tears.
Thus Happosai reverts to a baby.
Is water from Jyusenkyo-cursed individuals magical in general or...
?
Off the topic, I read Ranma 1/2 vol 20 after vol12 and the developement in Ranma's and Akane's
relationship was immediately noticeable. Hmm.
Anyone think characters in the first R1/2 movie are OOC?
(Ranma lacking skill, Akane too violent etc.) What annoys me in both movies is how Akane always
is so NICE for those who kidnaps her.
In manga I've seen Akane kidnapped twice. No romance in either case.
I still like the idea of "I was an invincible chinese warlord until I met Ranma Saotome" - club...
