Here's part 4, I hope you enjoy it. I try hard to make good stories. So
tell me what you think of it. Good or Bad, I'll accept both.
ENJOY! *_*

                           Chapter 4: The Oracle

I moved through the darkness, for that was the only thing here. From
what I could tell this was one of the so called, "Dark Dimensions."
According to some theories that I've heard a little about, the
dimensions are in three categories. One third evil, one third good, and
one third neutral. Basically the Dark Dimensions are the evil
dimensions, dimensions where good overpowers evil.
There were no people here, no plants, no nothing. Just darkness,
eternal darkness. This dimension was the legendary, "Eternity's End."
The dimension where nothing exists and the laws of physics and time are
warped to the extreme.
I walked along the darkness, knowing that the two other dimensional
travelers were here. If only they couldn't mask their presence. It was a
very annoying thing that could be done with magic and technology. But it
is usually done with technology, since it's much more reliable, easier
to get and handle, and harder to jam.
A wind came from the west, blowing against my side. It was a very
chilling wind, a dark wind. You could actually see the wind here, and it
was a very dark black. Full of evil it spread its taint to anyone it
touches, or so the stories go. This world is so useless that no one
comes here, and therefore not too much is known. And I'm sure no one
would want to know. I should get out of here, or befall the evil.
I stopped as a voice came from all around. It was a voice that
seemed to echo from everywhere. "Why are you here?"
I looked around and wondered what that was. It referred to itself as
the Oracle, but it could be so much more. It could be a dark god, a
spirit, a magician. With an almost endless amount of dimensions, it
could be anything. "Who are you? What are you?"
The voice came again. "I am the Oracle. I answer what you ask. So
what do you ask? Or do you not ask anything?"
"Why don't you just go away? I have no questions."
"If you have no questions, then maybe I should go."
"Fine then, go. I don't care."
"Okay. But remember this. Your journey begins at the end, not the
beginning." And then the voice abruptly cut off.
I shrugged off any thoughts about that man, the Oracle. I had more
important, and less confusing things to worry about. Like two
dimensional travelers.
As though someone had been listening to my thoughts, one of the
travelers appeared. It was the one dressed in blue, the one I had
confronted in the year 3124 A.D. the weak one out of the two.
The person held no weapons, as though it was going to fight bare
handed. I wondered why, a weapon was a lot more useful then ones bare
hands.
So I decided to teleport in my own weapon, but I couldn't. Something
was stopping me, like a wall. And then it hit me why my opponent had no
weapons. There must be a magic dampening field of some sort around here.

Most reality travelers didn't bring weapons or items along. They
usually warped them in using magic. But this dampening field prevented
the use of any magic. And since I didn't have anything technological to
use, I had to rely on my own bare hands.
I wondered why someone would put a magic dampening device in a
useless dimension. I also wondered where someone would get some sort of
dampening device. I had never heard of one that could stop a member of
the Reality Police from using magic, or any other dimensional traveler
for that matter. Dampening devices were always fixed in one dimension,
and therefore the Reality Inhibitor protected someone's magic abilities
from being stopped. It seemed that this field was created by something
that constantly changed to match the dimension of the person that was in
the dimension. And it could do this to a more then one person. Which
meant a large power source and one hell of an advanced dampening device.
Or at least that's what I thought. It did make sense.
I had no more time to think, my opponent was charging towards me. We
were soon swept away into a fist fight. Each one of us blocked and
parried, but only I hit. Whoever this was, it was quite stupid to take
me on. It should know by now that it can't win against me.
I landed a few blows hard blows onto the person, and then it decided
to retreat. Quickly it moved towards its reality device and was gone.
I sighed as I shook my head and checked out my Reality Device.
According to what it said, the other person I had been chasing, had
jumped into dimension 12957LKkkr. Year, 3356 A.D. And was followed by
the person in blue I had just fought. As though it had been distracting
me all this time. Maybe they were working together, but they fought each
other earlier. Maybe some sort of rivalry? Either way, I had to go.
Throwing down a Time displacer, I pulled put my cell phone and
dialed up the same old number.
After waiting for a few seconds someone picked up on the other side.
"Hello. Phil?"
"I'm going after the criminals, dimension 12957LKkkr. Time, 3356
A.D."
"Okay, got it. I'll report to the General right away. She has given
you level D priority on this mission."
"Level D? Why so low?" Level D meant I could only use some of the
lightest weapons in my inventory. If only she'd given me level A, I
could use anything at any time to bring down the criminals.
"She thinks you're too reckless, which you are. You've already
endangered and killed too many people. You are affecting the time line
too much. Just use hand to hand combat, or a very simple gun."
I grumbled at the thought of discretion. I hated being quiet when it
came to fighting. When I got back, I was going to have a long talk with
the General. "Fine, fine. I'll see you later."
"Bye." And we both hung up yet again.
I decided to go and pressed a few buttons on the Device, and then
vanished........
    "Did you push him?"
"Only a little, maybe not even enough. Only time will tell."
"Quite. But he has to do everything right. Otherwise, we lose."
    "And what of the others?"
"They have been taken into account, all the variables have. He
should do the job right."
"And what of the 23% chance that he'll, or someone else will find
out about us."
"We've been waiting along time for this, and such a small percentage
will not stop us now. If he deviates from the course we have planned for
him, then we push him back to the right way."........................
Marlia sat back in her chair, she rarely ever got up off it. All her
time was now spent trying to get Phillip on the right path. Everything
depended on him right now. Only he could grab the key.
She had given him level F discretion to slow him down. If he
couldn't use his big guns, then he couldn't kill them or capture them
quite as fast. And it also stopped him from altering the time line as
much as he usually did. That is if he followed the order.
With the extra time gained by Phillip having to be careful would
hopefully be enough time to lure out the people who were destroying the
different Universes. Or as Mr. Marlex put it, the Anti-Reality Police.
Everything was a gamble now. Not a single thing was certain.
