Here's Chapter 4.It SHOULD be a bit easier to
understand.C*C welcome.And remember before you read
this-it's not a very appropriate story at times and a
lot of things won't be very correct,so,just read it
and please spare me any complaints about whether
something's right or not,k?Arigato.On to Chapter 4.

Chapter 4:Angels look out!Here comes EVA Unit 06!
::This one shall repeatedly disobey me just to spite me.::Gendo thought angrily.::On the other hand,we need another EVA pilot.And from this one's description,we can't afford to dismiss her from NERV just because she disobeys orders.::
"Ryuko,I would like to run some tests on you.Is that alright?"Ritsuko asked.::I don't think I want to force her to do anything,from what Shinji told me.::
"Anything you wish me to do,I shall do."Ryuko said in a small voice.::Adults make me nervous.I hate tests!But I'll do it,for Shinji's sake.::
"Follow me then."Ritsuko walked off,Ryuko trailing behind her.
"Robots..."Ryuko said.::I should've expected this.::
"Yes,these are Evangelion units,they are organic,artificially made life forms,not robots.That's just their armor."Ritsuko explained.
"Alright."Ryuko looked at the alignment of 6 EVA units,and set her gaze on the second one.She pointed."That one's Shinji's."She looked at the one next to it.::Red,like those things on Asuka's head.She must work here.::"That one's Asuka's."Shifting her gaze to the first one,"That one's Rei's.The fourth one's Toji's,and The fifth one has to be Kaoru's...and the sixth one must be..."
"Yours,if you check out okay on the tests."Ritsuko finished her sentence.
"Then let's begin."Ryuko said.
"First thing we'll do is test your compatibility with each of the Evangelion Units.In case something happens to the other children,you may need to fill in for one of them."Ritsuko told her.
Ryuko was given a completely black plugsuit with black communicator things.She got into the suit and put the cat ear things on.
A few minutes later,she was in the entry plug.
"We are going to fill the entry plug with a substance called LCL."Ritsuko explained to Ryuko,who was calmly sitting in EVA Unit 00.
"I don't wanna get high on some drug!"Ryuko yelled.Sweatdrops appeared over everyone present in the room.
"Uh,no,that's LCD.This helps you synchronize better with the EVA unit."Ritsuko said.
"Oh,alright."Ryuko said,embarrassed.
The plug filled with the yellow liquid.A few seconds later...
"What!No way!"Maya exclaimed,reading the Synch chart.
"Is her sync rate too low,Maya?!"Ritsuko asked.
"Actually,it's 350 and RISING!"Maya shouted her reply.
"Oh no!And this is only the test!"Ritsuko paced frantically.
"The sync rate stopped at 365,Ma'am."Maya said,obviously relieved.
"Thank Kami,"Ritsuko let out the breath that she'd been holding.
"Ryuko,are you doing alright?"Ritsuko asked.
"Hai,Dr Akagi."
"Alright,we're going to put you into Unit 01 now."
"That's Shinji's EVA?"
"Yes."
"Alright."Ryuko was put into the EVA unit 01 entry plug.It filled with LCL.
"Kami,please let this be different than the last."Ritsuko muttered.
"Ma'am,Sync rates are at 400%!!!!"Maya yelled.
"I MEANT LOWER!"Ritsuko shouted and shook her fist at the sky.
"Well sorry,old lady!!Don't have a cow,she's gonna be okay!"Kami replied.
Misato walked over,holding two cans of beer.She gave one to Ritsuko.Then she shouted at the ceiling."And just when were you born,huh?"
"I was born in 1986."Kami said smugly.
"Really?Shhoo wassssh I!"Misato called out in a drunken voice."Thisshhh is 2015,remember?"
"OH CRAP!That's right!I'm 14 when Shinji's born!DAMMIT!I'M GONNA BE AN OLD LADY IN 2015!Gimme one of those!"Kami starts crying,though no one can see her.*The Writer continues to sob and cry as she drinks a soda.*
Back in the EVA,Ryuko found herself floating around,feeling dizzy."Oh great,not this again,don't tell me I passed out in the EVA."she muttered.
A woman with short brown hair appeared."Hello Princess."She said sweetly and smiled.
"Oh,hi,you're Yui Ikari.Shame you had to go this way.Spending all of eternity in an EVA must be boring."Ryuko said to Yui.
"I did it to protect my son.I could probably come out of here any time I wanted to."Yui replied.
"I'd do anything to protect your son,even if it meant getting trapped in an EVA for all eternity."Ryuko said.
"But you have other things that must be done.You have to live your life in your human form,not at 400% sync with an EVA forever,"Yui told her.She touched Ryuko's forehead and quietly traced the moon symbol."Princess."
"I know."Ryuko said,and looked down.
"You will not remember any of this conversation except what I tell you now.The world needs a defender once again,brave senshi,you must use a Star's Tear to become that defender."A round golden locket appeared and inside it was a blue sapphire shaped to look like a single teardrop."Take this gift,and shout out 'Moon stardrop makeup,'and you shall become the world's last hope.You must NEVER let the Star's Tear fall into the wrong hands,for it is stronger than even the Imperium Silver Crystal itslef.Now goodbye my princess,and tell no one except your fellow senshi about this conversation!"Yui started fading.
Ryuko took the golden locket and looked up at Yui."Thank you,Yui."She smiled.
"Eject the entry plug!!!!!!!"Misato screamed,a little sober now.
"The Eva isn't responding Captain!"Aoba shouted back."Wait a second,someone is on top of the EVA!It appears to be the 6th child!"
Ryuko was standing at the very top of EVA Unit 01's head,naked,and not all there either.She was still mistified from being inside and suddenly coming outside.
Shinji looked at the screen that had a close-up of the EVA's head.Despite the situation,his nose started bleeding.
Kaoru was aso having a similar reaction to the situation.The two boys were quite unaware of anything else except what was on the screen in front of them.
Misato was slowly creeping up on the two turned on boys with a mallet.
"KAORU AND SHINJI NO ECCHI!!!!"She shouted and whammed the mallet down on them.
"Ow!Oh damn!It hurts!AHHHHH!!!!!God!Kami!Help me!!!"The boys shouted in unison as Misato chased them with the large metal mallet.
"Captain Katsuragi!Try not to hit the computer system!We just got it fixed after the LAST time you chased someone around with a mallet!"Ritsuko shouted,thinking about that time when aoba made his VERY unfortunate mistake...
"Okay Ritsuko!"Misato said as she pounded them again.
"CRAP!PLEAAASEE!GREY-EYED GODDESS ATHENE THAT ART IN OLYMPIA,SAVE US!KAMI!ZEUS!HELA EVEN!"The boys cried.
"No one will save you now!"Misato said and laughed evilly as she caught them in a corner.
Giving it one final try,Shinji shouted out a solitary name."ARTEMIS!!!!!!"
A white cat with a crescent moon symbol appeared."You called?"Shinji looked up at heaven.
"This was the best help you could give us?"He asked.
Misato continued pounding Kaoru and Shinji into the ground,along with Artemis,for 15 minutes straight.By then,everyone was wondering how to get Ryuko down.
"DO NOT WORRY FAIR MAIDEN!FOR I,THE BLUE THUNDER OF THE NEW FURINKEN-JUUBAN HIGH SCHOOL,SHALL SAVE YOU!"A young man with short brown hair holding some weird type of wooden sword,was standing in front of the EVA.
"Ugh,where'd he come from?"A very bruised and battered Shinji asked,just crawling out of the circular dent in the floor.
"Oh,I forgot to tell you!His name's Kuno,and we hired him yesterday."Ritsuko responded.
Everyone sweatdropped as Kuno repeatedly tried to 'Smite the evil monster that has done such horrible things to the beautiful brown haired maiden.'
Mustering up some strength (and willpower),Shinji ran out on to the umbelical ramp and lept onto the Eva's head.He looked at Ryuko momentarily,then took off his outer shirt and wrapped it around her.She looked at him and smiled,still a little puzzled about where she was but glad that Shinji was there with her.
"Ah,thou art a very brave knight,Sir Shinji,jumping onto the head of the demon just to rescue the fair maiden from it's clutches!"Kuno smiled as some nice men in white outfits put him in a strait jacket and took him off to the funny farm.
Shinji jumped down off of the eva,holding ryuko,and handed her to Ritsuko.
The entry plug finally ejected,and a few workers grabbed Ryuko's plugsuit and cat ear things out of the empty plug.
"She seems only dazed,no physical or mental wounds."Ritsuko helped Ryuko into the changing room,holding her plugsuit.
Shinji looked at the EVA.He smiled at it.
The tests continued normally after that,though her sync rate was always above 125%.Ritsuko didn't want to test Ryuko in Unit 6 just yet,she wanted to wait.Then,after the EVA tests,they stuck Ryuko in a cylinder filled with a strange substance,and stuck a whole bunch of wires on her all over her body,though,most of them were on her head.
"This isn't in the normal tests.Who thought of this anyway?"Misato asked.
"Aoba did.He said it was something he saw in a sci fi movie called 'Bondage Babes from Planet Z'"Ritsuko replied.
"That ecchi baka."Misato said.there was some strange rattling noises coming from the air conditioning vents.Aoba was looking throught the slats(this is a word I invented!)of the vent smiling.::I wish I could take pictures of this moment!::He thought to himself,and went into a fantasy.
"This report is truly amazing!"Ritsuko exclaimed.
"What's it say?"Misato asked.
"She has a small strand of angel dna in her,and it says she can use all of her brain!She has such unbelievable powers!"Ritsuko read on and on.
"What's so special about using all of your brain?"Misato asked.
"Normal humans can only use 2-10% of their brains!"Misato gasped and toppled over in her chair.
"Cripees Ritsuko!No way!Why does she get to use all of her brain?"Misato whined like a little girl.
"She's a special child.That's why."Ritsuko replied.
A little while later they let Ryuko out of the tank.
"Well Ryuko,"Ritsuko said nervously,now that she knew she was probably in the presence of someone much more powerful and much smarter than her."According to these tests,you're the best,and most valuable pilot we have.You seem to live to synchronize with EVA units.Your synch ratios are even higher than Rei's were when she first synched with Unit 00."
"You haven't even tested me with my own EVA yet,Dr Akagi.I would like to get to know my own EVA."Ryuko replied.
"Anything you wish.We were holding your EVA until last because we plan on testing it in battle also,to check your skill and your reaction time.Is that alright?"Ritsuko asked.
"Hai,Dr Akagi."Ryuko said.
"You may call me Ritsuko if you want to."Ritsuko then walked over to the control panel.
"Prepare Unit 06 entry plug!!"She shouted.within seconds the message was across all of NERV.
Misato,still upset over not being able to use her whole brain had gotten herself drunk and walked out of a closet into the control room."Hey,HICC,Ritshhuko!Keep it down,I'm tcchrying to,HICC,get shhome shhhhleep."Misato slurred.
Everyone turned and stared at the intoxicated woman.She stared back.
"Whatsha matta?Aintchha ever shheen a woman before?"She asked in a highly drunken voice.
"Maya,take Captain Katsuragi to the infirmary,get someone to lie her down,and don't tell the supreme commander about this."Ritsuko ordered.
"Hai ma'am."Maya led Misato out of the control room.
Ryuko had just hopped into her plug.They loaded it into EVA Unit 06,which,strangely,looked like a metallic purple fox with black fore and back paws that was mixed with a human and had wings.The plug filled with LCL.
"This new series of EVAs is really remarkable,it's a shame EVA #5 was destroyed on it's way here."Ritsuko murmured to herself.
"Ma'am,her rate is at 399% and looks like it's trying to rise."Aoba said calmly.::It's happened before.This new type of EVA is supposed to be made so not to completely sync with the pilot.But,what about last time.::Aoba thought to himself and stared hard at the EVA.
Ryuko,in the pod,had realized her EVA wanted to sync all the way ahead of time,and so as soon as the LCL was above her head,she began controlling it."Not yet,we can't become one right now.I have things to do.You already took Minako-sensei,you can not take me now."Ryuko murmured.
"Dr. Akagi,the sync rate is going down to 390%.382%.It stopped ma'am."Aoba said.
"Good!Prepare to launch!"Ritsuko yelled.
"QUIET!"Misato yelled from the infirmary.
*The writer shall skip all the junk they do to launch the EVA because she forgot most of it and doesn't want to watch the EVA series all over again.*
The EVA was launched to the surface of the EVA training grounds.
"Now Ryuko,these are only fakes of the original angels.But they will go into battle with you.So watch out."Ritsuko explained.
"Alright,"Ryuko responded.Then she turned to the 4th angel."Care to tango?"
The angel shot one of it's laser-like arms out at Ryuko,but it never hit,because,faster than light,EVA Unit 6 had opened it's wings and swooped down head first,and stabbed it's core.
"They really should hide those things."Ryuko said,and was attacked by the 9th angel-copy.
This practice went on for some time,until only one angel copy was left.
Ryuko turned around in the circle of complete karnage,all the angels were dead,and she had only one tiny scratch on her armor.She glared at the Angel.It glared back from the white skull-like thing that served as it's face.She hated this angel more than anything.The 3rd angel,Sachiel.
"You're the one that almost killed Shinji."She said in a cold voice full of hate.It's hideous green body moved towards her.She ran towards it,a strange sword that no one at NERV or SEELE had seen,but one girl with blonde hair and a big red bow had once owned when she was part of the sailor senshi materialized in her hand.
Sachiel's AT field sprang up,but EVA Unit 06 ran through it without hesitation.She slashed the sword down upon Sachiel several times before moving to it's core,then she stabbed it,and cut it up.Sachiel had already died the first time she stabbed him,with a loud howl,but she didn't care.Both the EVA's eyes and the girl's eyes inside the EVA glowed an bloody shade of red.
"Pattern Blue!!!!!Coming from the EVA!"Aoba shouted.
"I know that Aoba,where's Maya?!"Ritsuko asked half annoyed,half absolutely amazed that Ryuko had killed all the angels with such ease.
"She had to go to the infirmary after seeing Unit 06 tear the 14th angel copy into little pieces and then try to put it back together like a jigsaw puzzle."Aoba replied.
::Hmm,Ryuko even thinks up different ways to kill the angels.::Ritsuko thought.
"Call Unit 06 back in before she gets too much blood all over herself."Misato commanded,just walking in.
"As you command."Aoba said.
When Ryuko got out of the entry plug,her eyes were still red with a slight spark of insanity,that quickly wore off when she saw Shinji.She ran to him and hugged him feircely.
Shinji,when I was fighting Sachiel,I kept seeing images of EVA Unit 01 being shot in the head by a beam of energy.I kept thinking of the aweful pain."Ryuko said quietly.
Shinji hugged her back.::How could she know about my fight with Sachiel?Or how much it hurt?!::He remembered the pain when Sachiel snapped Unit 01's wrist and winced.
"You were so amazing out there,it was unbelieveable."Shinji told her.
"Thank you,"Ryuko smiled."Where's Kaoru?"
"He's talking to Ritsuko."Shinji said.
"I thought Rei and I were the only ones..."Kaoru and Ritsuko were discussing the previous events.
"I think there's a connection though,there always has to be a connection somewhere!"Ritsuko said rather too cheerfully for her.
"Hi guys!"Ryuko bounded up to Ritsuko."Ritsuko,can I ask you a favor?"
"Sure Ryuko,anything I can do for you,I shall!"Ritsuko responded.
::She's in a cheery mood today.::Kaoru thought.
"Could you punch Commander Ikari for me?"She smiled an innocent smile,putting on her 'too cute' act.
"I can't do that.I'd get fired if I did.I'm sorry."Ritsuko said in a sad voice.::I would have long ago if I hadn't had my job to worry about.::she thought to herself.
"Ok,I'll ask Misato then."Ryuko skipped off.
"She didn't even say 'Hi Kaoru-kun.'"Kaoru felt sad.
Ryuko skipped up to a*yet again*intoxicated Misato."Misato-san,will you punch Commander Ikari?"Ryuko asked.
"Shhhure,I've been meanin tchhoo ever shhhince I wassshh hired!"with that,Misato and Ryuko trotted off to Gendo's office.
"I hope Misato doesn't get fired."Shinji said to himself.He walked after them.::This I gotta see!::He quickened his pace.
Misato kicked open Gendo's door.She walked up to his desk and looked him straight in the eye."I've been meanin tcho do thisshh for,HICC,for a long tchime!"Misato said.She then punched Gendo right in the nose.
Shinji,Ryuko,and Kaoru,all standing in the doorway,cheered.
"Katsuragi,you're fired!"Gendo shouted at her.
"Well,if yer gonna be mean about it,"Misato punched him again.
"If you fire her,I quit!"Ryuko said coldly.Gendo contemplated what would happen if he lost the 6th child.
"Alright,Katsuragi,you're rehired,but get out of my sight!"He yelled.Kaoru and Shinji helped Misato stagger out the door.Ryuko walked up to Gendo's desk.
"By the way,I'm sick of seein those glasses."Ryuko commented.She snatched the glasses off of Gendo's face,threw them on the floor,and stomped on them repeatedly,until they were broken beyond repair.Then she skipped out the door.
"That was so cool!"Shinji exclaimed.
::Everyone must hate Gendo,::Ritsuko thought to herself.
"Sure was!"Kaoru replied,smiling.
Back at the Kuro Neko apartment building,Ryoga sat patiently,not daring to move an inch,for fear of getting lost.
In Shinji's apartment,Kippori sat on a couch,thinking to itself.::Tomorrow night,the curse shall end,and I shall take my beautiful Ryuko away from here.::
*In a study somewhere,the writer sat,smiling evilly at a bound and gagged mokona hanging by it's ears from the ceiling."Take that,mokona,for ripping up my precious papers!"*
At the NERV headquarters,Gendo was staring sadly at his bent and misshapen glasses with a tear stained face.He then started sobbing like a little girl again.
