This is Chapter 2.I know,a lot of things might be incorrect in my fanfiction,but they're MY ideas.So don't beat me up just coz kaoru's not gay or ryoga/ranma aren't completely acting as they should.

Chapter 2:Moving In Again:A new life with Shinji
::I'm sure she doesn't mean to give me a headache.She's
just excited.::Shinji thought,as Ryuko now went into complaining about why he never stood up to Asuka.
"Uh,Ryuko?"Shinji said in a pleading voice.
"Yes Shinji-kun?"Ryuko replied.
"Can I show you my apartment now?"Shinji asked.
Sweatdrops appeared over both of their heads.
Ryuko nodded and couldn't help suppressing a giggle as they walked into the apartment building.
Shinji entered the code to his apartment.They walked inside.
A large sweatdrop appeared over Ryuko's head.
"So,this is your apartment?"Ryuko said,looking at all the white
furniture and white walls.::Gah,I hate white!It looks so,so,so
white!::
"Yep!"Shinji said,taking pride in his clean little apartment.
"So....errmmm"Ryuko said.She wanted to see her room,but didn't
want to ask.
"Oh yeah!I'll show you your room!"Shinji exclaimed and promptly
marched off down the hallway to the right.Ryuko followed behind
trying not to touch anything white for fear that she might get
unknown,unseeable dirt on it.
Shinji opened a door by pressing a button next to it.Inside
was a room with navy blue walls,a bed in the upper right-hand
corner with black sheets,black blanket,and black pillow
cases,and a chair in the lower right hand corner that was
painted to look like it had cheetah spots.
As soon as Ryuko saw it she got stars in her eyes."Oh Shinji
this is the PERFECT room!!"She exclaimed.Shinji smiled.
"If you need me,I'm in the room right next to you."Shinji told her.
"So,what do you usually do for dinner?"Ryuko said.::Not that
I'm hungry,but you look like you haven't eaten anything all day.::she secretly thought.
"I usually go out to eat.Never really wanna cook for myself,though I got into the habit of making me and Asuka's lunches."Shinji said.
"I'll make dinner!"Ryuko said cheerfully.She definitely did NOT want to go to some fast food resturant where all the kids were likely to be at.
"O.....kay,if you want to."Shinji said with a puzzled look on his face.::I've never seen a girl that would want to cook rather than eat out.::Shinji thought.
"What would you like to have for dinner,Shinji?"Ryuko asked.
"Err,I don't know,suprise me."Shinji said.::I hope she's a better cook than Misato.The one time Misato invited me over to dinner I was sick for a week!::
"Okay!!!!!"Ryuko said.Five seconds later she was making curry and rice with her own secret recipe.Then,she took out a box of tea bags and boiled some water while reading the ingredients.
"Perfect!"She whispered,not wanting Shinji to hear her.She poured the boiling water into two teacups.She put a tea bag in the first one.
"Oh,ancient magical tea please grant my wish,give Shinji confidence and courage so he can stand up to Asuka and other problems!And make this tea taste good too!I don't want him to be sick."Ryuko mumbled to the cup of tea.She then took the tea bag out,put a teaspoon in it,and took it out to Shinji.
"Here's a cup of tea while you're waiting for dinner,Shinji!"Ryuko said all too cheerfully.
"Oh,thanks Ryu-chan."Shinji said as he accepted the tea."What type is it?"
"It's green(dragon) tea."Ryuko replied.Back in the kitchen,Ryuko put a teabag in her own tea,only,no incantation afterwards.She snuck into her room and let Kippo out."Now,Kippo,be good and keep quiet please!I don't want you giving Shinji-kun a headache!"she ordered the fluffball.She left Kippo on her bed and left the door open.She went back to the kitchen,put the curry and rice on a plate,and took it out to the nice little rectangular wood table that served as a dining table.
"Here you go,Shinji-kun!"She told the boy as she set the food down.
Shinji looked at the food.::It looks good.It smells good.::He took the fork and speared some of the curry.He stuck it in his mouth.He chewed.As he chewed,a smile developed on his face.It grew wider,and wider,and still yet wider.It grew so wide that it was hard to chew with his mouth closed.Finally,he swallowed,feeling a little regret."This is really good!!!!!"Shinji exclaimed.
Ryuko blushed and smiled."Thank you."She said meekly.
Shinji began eating faster than the speed of light."Where did you learn how to cook?!"Shinji said with his mouth full of what he considered the blessed food from Kami.
"My mother taught me when I was 3."Ryuko replied.A sweatdrop appeared over Ryuko's head.She was amazed that one person could fit so much food in his mouth and yet still talk.
Before Shinji knew it,there was no food left on his plate.He looked sadly at his plate,then longingly at Ryuko's."Um,Ryu-chan,are you going to eat that?"He said,seeing that she hadn't even touched it.The sweatdrop over her head grew larger,she gave him what she hoped was a cheerful smile and handed her plate to Shinji.He kept it in his hand and started eating faster and faster.
"Do you know that eating so fast can give you heart problems?"Ryuko asked.Her answer was a glare.Shinji continued eating,faster and faster.
With a sigh and a smile Shinji leaned back in his chair."I'd have to say that that was the best meal I've had in a long time!"he told Ryuko.
"I'm glad you liked it!"Ryuko replied,smiling and blushing.She picked up their plates and empty teacups and put them into the sink.She began washing the dishes.Shinji went into his room and started doing his homework while listening to his tape player.After Ryuko was done with the dishes,she grabbed her backpacks.The teachers had given her twice as many books as all the other children had recieved,obeying her request for more homework.She sat on the couch and 20 minutes later was finished and bored to death.::I guess I can start on making special lunches for Asuka and Shinji.::She made some chocolate chip cookies,divided them into equal shares,wrapped them in tin foil to keep them warm,and stuck them into two lunch bags.She then got out the containers of left over curry and rice that she'd "forgotten" to tell Shinji about.She put some curry and rice into two smaller containers and packed them into the bags.she also put in an apple for each.She pulled out her special little lunch bag with little foxes and the word kitsune all over it,with a blue background.She made a peanutbutter sandwich,cut it in,and put one half in a plastic bag.She ate the other half,since she hadn't been able to eat dinner.She stuck the half a sandwich into her lunch bag,believing she'd need the energy.Packing all her books and her lunch bag back into her back packs,Ryuko dragged them back into her room.She sat down on her new bed and petted Kippo absent mindedly.
"Kip!"The little puffball said and jumped under the bed.
Shinji knocked on the door.a few seconds later,his knock was answered.
"Nani?"
"Ryuko,can I come in?"
"Hai."
Shinji opened the door.He thought he felt something brush past his ankle.He dismissed it as a hallucination."Ryuko,I'm having trouble on my homework.I just can't think.What do you normally do when you can't think?"Shinji asked.
"Take a bath.That's what I usually do.It helps to clear the mind."This wasn't what Ryuko usually did,but she thought that Shinji would think her weird if she said 'I go into an unconcious state.'
"That's a great idea!Thanks Ryu-chan!"Shinji walked off back in his room for some unknown reason.::Probably wants to takes his tape player along!::Ryuko laughed.She went off in search of Kippo,realizing he was no longer in her room.Giving up,she grabbed a soda from the kitchen and sat down at the dining room table.She propped her feet up on the table and leaned herself back a bit.
Shinji undressed himself in the restroom.The bath was in the next room.He was thinking about Ryuko maybe working for NERV.::She could be the sixth child.::he said to himself.He was about to open the door to the bath,when it opened by itself.His eyes grew wide.A strange animal that looked like a cross between a furry tumbleweed and a rabbit was standing there sopping wet.
"Kipp!Kippo?"The strange animal said.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Ryuko heard a scream that was shortly followed by an undressed Shinji.
"Ry-Ry-Ryuko-chan!!!!!!"Shinji stuttered.
Ryuko blinked."Nani?"she said,not even phased by Shinji's new appearance.::Too much soda,I'm starting to imagine things.::
"A..m..m..m-"Shinji stuttered.Suddenly,Kippo came bouncing past him and into Ryuko's arms.
"Kippori!Oh!You mean him?He's a dust bunny."Ryuko asked,pointing at the animal in her arms.
"What is that?!"
"Oh!Don't worry!He won't harm you!I guess I should've introduced you!His name is Kippori.Kippo for short."Ryuko explained.Kippo jumped out of her arms and into Shinji's.It rubbed up against Shinji's hand.
"Aww...he is kinda cute."Shinji said and smiled.Kippo leaped back into Ryuko's arms.
"You might want to cover that up."Ryuko said,taking a sip of her soda.
Shinji looked down and his eyes grew very wide.His face started looking like a very red tomato.He quickly covered himself and edged away looking quite embarassed.
"I guess I should've told him sooner.Oh well,at least I didn't look at it.I don't think Shinji knows that though."
"Kip."
Shinji thought about today at school.::Ayanami was absent again today.Father must be running more tests on Unit 00.Kaoru said it was a possibility that Ryuko could be the 6th child.Why was Ryuko so interested in Kaoru anyway?::Shinji suddenly realized he was feeling very jealous as he thought about this.::Why am I jealous?It's not like I'm IN LOVE with Ryuko or anything!::He remembered back to his conversation with Misato.
***Flashback***
Misato:You've met Ryuko I see.You must like her very much,asking me something like this.
Shinji:(turns deep red)No way!She's just a friend!
**End of Flashback***
::Am I?::Shinji puzzled.
Ryuko was back in her room,thinking deeply,she heard the restroom door open,the padding of feet,then,the opening and shutting of Shinji's door.She got up and wandered into the restroom.::I need a bath too.I haven't taken one since the day before yesterday.::
Ryuko was so submerged under water the only thing you could see were her strange glowing blue eyes and the top of her head.She was remembering her past.
**Flashback***
A woman with long pink pigtails and rabbit ear hairstyle:Oh please Minako-chan!You just have to help me!
Minako:Allright Princess Chibi-usa.But I'm only doing it because I feel sorry for the baby.
Princess:Oh thank you,Minako-chan!(hands Minako a bundle and then runs off.)
***End of Flashback**
Ryuko's eyes widened.She sat upright in the bathtub."Mommy!"
Ryuko wrapped herself and her hair in the blue towels she brought along."I better say goodnight to Shinji."
Shinji was having a nightmare.His eyes popped open and he entered a state of shock as he remembered the horrible pounding sound of Sachiel's beam trying to break through Eva-Unit 01's brain case.
"Shinji-kun,can I come in?"Ryuko said.no answer.there was no sound at all.she closed her eyes and saw an image of Shinji curled in a ball,his eyes wide open in a state of shock.Ryuko opened the door.
"Shinji-kun,I'd like to thank you for letting me stay with you."She said.He said nothing."Goodnight Shinji-kun,I'll make breakfast tomorrow,and your lunch is in the kitchen."
She closed the door and walked into her room.She got into the lotus position.She closed her mind.She had not meant to but she linked to Shinji's mind.What she saw amazed her.She heard a horrible pounding sound first.Then an ugly green monster with a red circular thing that looked like a crystal ball right in the middle if his chest appeared.He was holding a gigantic robot up by it's head,a laser beam came out of the arm and kept hitting the robot's head over and over again.After maybe 6 blows it broke through and the robot went flying backwards.The robot collapsed against a building,the laser beam went back into the monster's hand,and blood started flying out of the robot's head.Then,suddenly,the robot got up and acted like an angry animal.It attacked the monster,the monster threw it and it landed on it's knee.It attacked the monster again,but just as it was about to reach the monster,A yellow barrier of some sorts appeared between them.It appeared that the robot had had it's left wrist damaged.The robot held his wrist up and it healed!The robot then grabbed what appeared to be the middle of the barrier and started pulling it apart.Once it had broken through,it grabbed the monster's wrists and broke them in half.Then it kicked the monster and the monster went flying into a building,collapsing to the ground.The robot started punching the red thing and then it grabbed these white things that looked like ribs and tore them off the monster.The robot used them to try to break the red thing.The red thing started cracking but just then the monster screamed and jumped on the robot's head.It blew itself up,trying to kill the robot,but the robot still lived.Then,what appeared to be it's face fell off,revealing that it was actually armor.The robot's eye regenerated and stared at Shinji.At this,Shinji screamed.
Ryuko heard Shinji scream in the next room and heard herself scream as well.::That's it!That's what Shinji's job is!I must protect Shinji!He could get killed!!!::Ryuko,exhausted from the mental strain,went right to sleep.
The next morning Ryuko woke up looking very shook up,running her hand through her hair and feeling her body to make sure everything was there.She got into her new school clothes and went out into the kitchen to make breakfast for Shinji.::Wow,I actually went to sleep!::she thought to herself.Shinji walked in whistling.
"Good morning Shinji-kun!Did you get a good night's sleep?"Ryuko asked as cheerfully as she could.
"Sure did!"Shinji replied.::In fact,I had the best dream I've had in ages.::His smile grew wider remembering one of the three dreams he'd had.He almost drooled."How about you?"
"At least I slept."She mumbled bitterly.
"Did you have a nightmare Ryu-chan?"Shinji asked,slightly concerned.
"I dreamt I fell into some sorta spring and turned into a boy!"Ryuko exclaimed,looking down just to double check that she was still very much a girl.
"Ah,don't worry about it,it was probably just something silly you imagined.Hey,I think that bacon's done."He said,pointing to the frying pan with the sizzling bacon on it.Ryuko turned off the stove and put the bacon on a plate.Grabbing a piece of bacon and munching on it thoughtfully,she grabbed Shinji's lunch out of the freezer and gave it to him.She also gave him a lunch carefully labeled "Soryuu Asuka Langely".
"Give that to Asuka.Don't tell her I made it though.She might not eat it then.I have seen girls like her before.She must have had a bad childhood."Ryuko muttered the last part under her breath.She went into her room and grabbed her backpacks,gave kippori a bowl of food,then went back out again.
"Uh,Ryuko?"Shinji called.He was thinking about telling her about the 3rd dream he had had last night,the one about the 6th child.
"Yes Shinji-kun?"Ryuko asked.
"Uh,nothing,nevermind."Shinji said.He decided that he shouldn't tell her about that until she had a job at NERV.
"Allright..."Ryuko said with a puzzled look on her face.
At that moment,the door bell rang.It was Asuka along with a girl with brown hair in pigtails and the other boy from yesterday with the glasses.
"Hey guys.Um,Asuka,here's your lunch."Shinji said handing Asuka the lunch marked 'Soryuu Asuka Langely.'
"Thanks wonderboy,now I can suffer from your cooking once again."Asuka chided.(BTW,I don't know what chided means exactly so this sentence might sound strange.)
Ryuko's eyes lit on fire.Shinji decided to change the subject at seeing this."Ryuko!I don't think I've introduced you!"He said quickly,pointing to the other people in the doorway.
"This is Kensuke,"Shinji said pointing to the boy with glasses."And this is Hikari."He pointed at the pigtailed girl."Hikari,Kensuke,this is Ryuko."Shinji then said to his two friends in the doorway.
"Nice to meet you."They all said in unison.Before further conversation could go on between the 5 children,Asuka grabbed Shinji by the wrist and started running off."Come on!We don't want to be late for school!"
Ryuko ran to catch up with the retreating Asuka and the very unhappy looking Shinji being dragged behind her.
As soon as they got out of the apartment building,Asuka let go of Shinji's wrist and let him walk normally.
Ryuko floated in pitch black space,surrounded by a white light.Something blue floated in front of her.A blue tear shaped gem(sapphire to be specific) with a white light in the middle.She reached for it and held it close to her.suddenly she was standing above a little pool of water.Drops of water started collecting on her body,forming a sailor fuku that was black and ocean blue.She saw other figures around her,in different senshi uniforms.Then she saw 6 figures in front of her.2 were dressed in knight's armor,one yellow and dark blue,the other sea green.2 were dressed in komonos,one light brown with jaguar spots on it,and one bright yellow.One was in a strange orange dress with knee length black boots and elbow length black gloves,the dress ended where these started.And there was a connection on the back of the dress that looked like a fox's tail.The last figure looked a like a child with wings made out of flame.It looked up at her,and gave her a warm smile.It had hair that looked like a raging fire,changing
from red to orange to yellow.She smiled back.Then,someone else caught her attention,he wore bluish armor and a blue cape.His hair was brown,and his eyes were covered by a mask.He sat in midair playing a reed flute.At first she couldn't hear the song,but then,it got louder and louder.It was sad,soothing,and lovely,all at the same time.Her fuku turned black,and stretched into a beautiful long gown(think princess serenity's,only black).She started crying,as a feeling of complete misery swept over her.She heard a voice calling her.
"Princess,please.....help us......
"Please,Ryu-chan..."
"Ryu-chan!"
"Ryu-chan!Wake up!Open your eyes!Give us a sign you're alive!"
Ryuko's eyes snapped open.
"Wha?Where am I?What happened?Why am I drenched?"Then she saw Asuka holding a bucket.She glared.Asuka glared back.
"You fainted.We were almost to the school gate,and you were very silent.then,you fainted."Shinji told her.She suddenly noticed a lot of other kids around her.She got up,and looked around.::I'm inside.I gotta get away from all these people!::She thought.She spotted the door leading outside.She ran.And ran.She barely felt bursting through the door.She ran faster and faster and faster.She finally stopped running and slowed down to a walk.She walked into an alley.::Gotta make sure no one finds me!Can't have a whole bunch of people around me asking me questions.::
Shinji looked at the door in amazement.It was practically ripped off it's hinges.::She left her book bag here.She must've been scared.What is it that scares her so much?::He looked around.There were a lot of boys and girls standing around and gaping at the door too.
"Wha...what happened?"Kensuke had walked over next to Shinji.
"She got scared."
"Why?I'd think she'd be happy to know there were so many people around in the school that were worried about her.I sure wou-"
"That's it!She's afraid of people noticing her and giving her attention!Kensuke,you're a genius!"
"I know."He adjusted his glasses.
Shinji ran out the busted door and in search of Ryuko.
Ryuko sat on top of a building.It was easy climbing up there,but with everyone on the street staring at her,she almost lost her balance a few times.
Shinji stopped.Everyone was practically frozen in place looking at a building::I've heard people do strange things in Nerima,I wonder what they're staring at.::He walked over to a young man with black hair tied back in a pigtail.
"Hi,what's going on?"He asked the man.The man turned towards him.The man was more like a boy.He couldn't be older than 16.::Ggrrr,I wish I had so many muscles.Then even Asuka would admire me!::
"Some girl just climbed that 20 story building.I could do that too,but I've been specially trained in martial arts since I could walk.And she did it like it was nothing!Even I would get a little tired from climbing it."The boy said.::why not just jump?it's easier.::
"Oh no.RYU-CHAN!!GET OFFA THAT BUILDING!YOU COULD GET HURT!"He shouted to the top of the building.
"Not until everyone goes away!They'll just act like I'm some sorta freak and stare at me!"
Shinji was about to answer,when the boy did.
"Hey look,you're obviously not familiar with the Nerima district!It's expected here!A whole lot of people can do what you did!"The boy shouted.::Only they usually would rather jump.No one really likes to climb a building unless they have to.::
"Who are you?"
"I'm Ranma Saotome of The Anything Goes school of Martial Arts!I'm 16 years old.Who are you?"He felt dumb saying what he said,but really,this was something that happened every day,pretty much.
"I am Ryuko Aino!I come from the Juuban District.I'm 15 years of age.Drop in and say hello sometime!"
"Wanna get off the building?"
"No.Not really."
"Why not?"
"I hate attention from strangers."
"How about if I promised that I'd make sure none of them bothered you?"At this,everyone took a few steps back from Ranma.They knew his power,and they were hoping to live the rest of their lives.
"They'd make me lose my balance if I tried to climb down!"
Ranma sighed,very exhasperated.He leaped up onto the top of the building,suprising Ryuko very much.He bowed to her and smiled.::She's really beautiful.It's a nice thing to see after living with that uncute tomboy Akane.::
"How about if I carry you down?"He offered.Before she could agree or disagree,he'd lifted her into his arms and was preparing to jump off of the building.She clung to his nice chinese shirt.::I hope she doesn't wrinkle it.Kasumi and Akane'll be so upset if I come home with a wrinkled shirt.::
Ranma jumped off and landed next to Shinji.He set Ryuko down.She immediately ran to Shinji and wrapped her arms around him,trying to hide herself.Ranma glared at everyone and they all ran off.Ranma was about to ask Ryuko if she was alright,when a yellow and black blur came from nowhere shouting "DIE SAOTOME!!!!!!!!!!"
Ranma nimbly stepped to the side and the blur ran into a wall.As soon as the blur hit,it flew back out,unphased,intending to kill the pigtailed boy.They went into intensified combat,now,both of them blurs.Ryuko watched in puzzled fascination,trying to watch,but unable to.
Ryoga was in a heated battle with Ranma.::I plan to win this time!::Just as things seemed to be going his way,he heard a beautiful voice,that felt like soft silk to his ears.
"Why do you want to kill him?Are you a blur?You move so amazingly fast."Ryuko asked.She was suprised to see the battle stop in midair,like someone just hit 'freeze frame' on a remote control.The previous yellow and black blur turned out to be a rather nicely built boy with short black hair and a yellow and black bandanna wrapped around his forehead.He stared at her mystified.He lept to the ground,leaving Ranma rather befuddled in midair.The boy walked over to Ryuko,and bowed.
"Greetings.I am Ryoga Hibiki,and to answer your first question,Ranma and I used to be best friends.But now he is engaged to a beautiful girl named Akane*Ranma coughs to hide a laugh at this comment,and falls to the ground.*See?He calls her an uncute tomboy,so I try to kill him to win Akane."He was still staring at Ryuko.
She smiled.::This guy's got a bigger crush on this Akane girl than I do on Kaoru.Do I really love Kaoru?Or is this some phase I'm going through?I thought I liked Shinji too,oh heck,I am confused now!::"Konnichi-wa Ryoga!I am Ryuko Aino."She said cheerfully and curtsied.::Allright,now I feel weird,I don't ever curtsy!That's not a Ryuko thing to do!No sirree,nuh-uh!::
::Uh oh,Ryoga doesn't usually get that look on his face unless...::Ranma examined Ryoga closly."Hey Hibiki!Come here!"Ranma shouted.
"What is it Saotome!"Ryoga growled and walked off towards Ranma.
Ranma dragged Ryoga into a near alleyway."Listen,Hibiki,I know,Ryuko's gorgeous and all,and you might have a good chance,but you're goin about it all wrong!"Ryoga looked angrily at Ranma,but he felt his heart just wasn't in it.
"Saotome,I actually don't feel like ripping out your guts and using them for violin strings,for once!"he said,amazed.
::Thank Kami,one less problem to worry about!::Ranma secretly thought."Learn stuff about her!That's what ya do if ya wanna get the girl.Act like everything she likes,you like!"Ranma threw Ryoga out of the alley.He landed a few feet away from Ryuko."I don't ever wanna see you lookin like that again,Hibiki!"Ranma shouted,smiling,as Ryoga hit the ground with a thud.
Ryoga lifted himself off the ground."Ms. Aino,How about if I walk you home?"He asked.He tried his best to smile casually,only ending up with the goofiest smile imaginable.Ryuko giggled at his silly expression and nodded.
Shinji just stood there,a pitiful look on his face as he watched Ryuko walk off with Ryoga.
"Hmmph,so much of a knight in shining armor I am-"He stopped.The words sounded familiar.He put it out of his mind.He felt a strong hand on his shoulder and he looked back to see Ranma.
"Hey,I'm sorry,are you two going out?"
"No,"He muttered,"She just lives in my apartment."
"Oh."Ranma could tell this guy was serious."Do ya like her?"
Shinji shrugged.
"I can read your mind.Or,at least your expressions.You're sad,because you're a puny wimp that no girl finds appealing,and the one girl that may seem worth everything,you feel you couldn't get in a million years."Ranma said,suprised at his own intelligence.Shinji looked at him,amazed,and nodded."Well,I tell ya what,I'll help you get some muscles on yourself,sos you can at least show her you're trying."
"Alright!"Shinji said,quite happily.
"By the way,what's your name?"Ranma asked.
"Ikari,Shinji Ikari."Shinji said putting on his infamous 'james bond wannabe' smile.Ranma laughed.
"Alright,then we should get started right now!"Ranma exclaimed.
"Do I need to pay you?"Shinji asked fearfully.
Ranma shook his head."Nah,kid,I like your face,you'll go far."::Actually,I owe it to ya.I feel like such a jackass for trying to fix Ryoga up with Ryuko.Kami,it does crush some people when they see a girl they really like just walk off with someone else.::Ranma said in his mind.::Oh no!Yet another educated thought!Where are these things coming from?!!!!!!::
Ranma and Shinji walked off towards the anything goes school of martial arts.
Ryuko stopped.She had had to hold Ryoga's elbow because he kept wandering off in different directions.He had explained that he had no sense of direction."Oh kami!I forgot about Shinji!Kamikamikami!Now he's going to feel all depressed and abandoned!"Ryuko exclaimed.
"Are you two boyfriend and girlfriend or something?"Ryoga said,trying to keep down the jealous tone in his voice.
"No,I just live with him."she replied absent mindedly.
"Oh,well,don't worry,Ranma'll help him feel better.I'm amazed at how sometimes,Ranma can make people feel better!"Ryoga said cheerfully.::That's not exactly a lie.::
Ryuko gave Ryoga a warm smile."There's where we live!"She pointed to an apartment building with a big neon black sign that said "Kuro Neko Apartments."
"Nice name."Ryoga said.
"Oh,I just love cats!Cats are so graceful,so elegant,so cute!"Ryuko exclaimed.
"Really?How do you feel about...pigs?"Ryoga questioned.
"I don't exactly like them too much.They're cute,but,they arent furry!"She said,smiling at her choice of words.
"Oh."::I gotta get back to Jusenkyo,I just gotta get this pig curse offa me!::
They had arrived at the building,had gone inside,and now Ryuko was trying to remember Shinji's combination."Aha!There we go!"The door slid open and she and Ryoga walked in.
"Kip!Kipkip kippo!"Kippori bounced in,suprising Ryoga.Kippori also seemed greatly suprised.Both of them seemed ready to defend Ryuko in any possible way.
"Ryoga,meet my pet dust bunny,Kippori."Ryoga and Kippori exchanged glares and kippori bounced off back into the darkness of Ryuko's room.
"That's the flufflest thing I ever saw."Ryoga muttered.
"Would you like me to cook you something?You look like you're starving!I just love to cook!"Ryuko smiled gracefully at Ryoga,and he felt his heart leap.::Wow,she and Kasumi'd get along real well.They're both nice and they love to cook and do stuff for people.::Ryoga thought.
"Alright."Ryoga said.Ryuko's face lit up and she ran into the kitchen.::Oh god,I hope she doesn't cook like Akane.I can stand akane's cooking,for her,and to smite Ranma.Smite,that's a funny word,doesn't Kuno use that word?::
Ryuko was preparing some chicken stirfry with soy sauce in it.::I would make ramen noodles,but then he might think I'd just plopped some instant ramen into boiling water.It's a good thing I love to make complicated dishes,and had a lot of experience as a child.::
Ryuko walked out 10 minutes later holding a plate of chicken stir fry in soy sauce.She set the plate down in front of Ryoga and smiled with self assurance.
Ryoga looked at the food.He picked up a fork and ate some of it.Then began eating more and more.He stopped and looked up.Ryuko was gone,and there was a big pot of chicken stirfry in the middle of the small table.He looked over to the small kitchen and saw Ryuko sitting patiently by the stove in a chair.There was a big pie sitting in the oven.::That looks good,must be for dessert.I guess she realized I have a big appetite.::Ryoga continued eating.
Ryuko walked out of the kitchen a few minutes later holding the before mentioned pie.
