Now, I took one glance at the King of the Hill story and thought, "No, I don't have time for this. Besides, after the Tenchi Muyo story, I don't know if I want to read any weird stuff like Bobby Hill going berserk and slicing his parents open with, oh I don't know, a cheese grater." My finger hovered over the delete button.

Then the phone rang, and as I was talking on the phone, my eyes kept wandering back to the beginning of the story. Once I got off the phone, I read some more...then some more...then some more...

And my entire afternoon was shot as I sat on the edge of my seat, reading the best-gosh-darn ghost story I ever read. Okay, maybe it's not the best story, but being a KOTH fan, I could literally *see* all the action playing out in my head, just like an episode. You had the characterizations down-pat, even down to Boomhawer's weird talk. Oh, the story was the usual cliche Town-is-actually-a-ghost-town, but your use of the KOTH cast really sucked me in, kept me chewing nails as the noon hour approached. So I have to say, this was the best KOTH fanfic I've ever read, and just maybe this *should* be an actual episode!

Oh yeah, as for the Tenchi Muyo story: pretty gory, scary, yada, yada, yada...
