Yep, they were the First Annual Chicken Ball Awards from 1997, still
available in reruns in the Series section of my fanfic page at

So, the question: For those who (might not want to) remember, who >did
these?
Well, I came up with the original concept for these awards and over 20
authors participated in the writing of presentation and acceptance speeches
for 20 different catagories. I organized all the voting and put the
speeches together with the award catagories myself and it was such a big job
that I ended up finishing up months after the awards were supposed to be
posted. ^_^;
Anyway, I thought this would be a good time to ask the FFML for volunteers
to help with this year's Chicken Ball Awards. Once we determine how to
handle the preliminaries and the voting, we'll need help in tallying the
votes and organizing the presentation speeches.
Also, once the awards catagories have been determined, we will be asking for
volunteers to help present the individual catagories. This will take a
little while but with more people helping to organize it, it should go a lot
smoother and faster.
Anyone who would be interested in giving their time and energy to this
project would be greatly appriciated for their help. :) You can contact
