Anyone else notice that the second martial arts Neo trained in, after
Jujitsu, was Kempo?
----
Who is Neo and what, exactly, does he have to do with Ranma?
i said it was a [Ranma][Matrix]Fanfic idea. that means it has Ranma elements
and Matrix elements.
The purpose of writing in new characters is to help examine the existing
ones in ways not available in the original material. It's fruitless making
up new characters for the sake of simply making new ones; it gums up your
fics with a lot of useless and often boring prose.
NEO IS NOT A NEW CHARACTER HE IS A CROSSOVER CHARACTER
----
First premise: There are not -real- Nannichuan/Nyannichuan. they were
fabricated by the matrix to compensate for a bug in the system where
someone's gender inside the matrix is different from theirs outside the
matrix.
----
This is a really bad premise for a Ranma fic for no other reason than it's
horribly un-Ranma and needlessly complex. And also sounds like a
never-ender.
look. it's a matrix crossover, not JUST a Ranma-fic. i need some way to
explain jusenkyo in a way incorporated by the matrix. the purpose of this
premise is that out in the -real- world, ranma is and always has been,
female.

It's a Cel phone. --Ring-- "Hello, Ranma." "you know, you sound a lot like
Keanu Reeves." "i get that a lot. Anyway, go under the bridge you always
go
to, the [don't know the name] bridge, i'll be waiting, i have something
very
important to show you"

Violation of the Law of No Self-Insters. Infringments don't nesecarily
mean
the author puts himself in the story, but the insertion of American
cultural
refrences is almost as bad. Don't do it, the reader can't take the fic
seriously otherwise.
WHAT THE HECK IS THIS? it's a MATRIX crossover. and of COURSE Neo sounds
like Keanu Reeves, just like Ranma-chan sounds like Megumi Hayashibara.
BAKA!
