Last week, I sent an email announcing that the FFML Mini-Archive was
back up and hoping to get enough hits to be allowed greater file space
on Tripod.com. Thanks to the interest by the FFML, I did get a good
increase in the number of hits received.
Unfortunately, after contacting Tripod.com, I have come to the
conclusion that their offer of additional space was a lot of hot air. I
dearly wish that I wasn't behind a firewall, because I have most of the
last 3 years worth of FFML stories saved on my computer and ready to be
read and I have a 17 gig hard drive to host it on.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good, free ftp site or web
site that would allow me to host some or all of these files. If you run
a web server in your dorm room, that would be ideal. The total
collection is about 500 MB so far. If you have this space, or know of
someone who does, please let me know privately (not on the FFML. I hate
spam MORE than most people: my archiving program has to sort through
it!!)
Also, feel free to drop by the current archive. It's small (10 MB), but
I'm trying to rotate the stories once a week, to give people the chance
to read the ones posted.
