Just another of my stupid ideas, bear with me folks.
This idea has Ranma planted in the middle of the twenty-second
century, about 2155. Ranma, having awakened in the future, is sucked into a
war between mankind's shambling remnants and the half-human Beastials who
have more or less taken over.
Man is reduced to living in the depths of the cities that span the
world, in barely habitable slums and ghetto districts. Ranma, being the only
human on earth not tagged by the Beastials, is torn between the world he
left and the world he's stuck in now. He's fighting in a future he does not
understand against an enemy he may not be able to stop. The members of the
human resistance are trying to convince him to join their ranks, while all
he wants is to return to his own time.
The idea is incomplete, the most niggling detail being how the hell
do I get him to 2155? I'd appreciate ideas and feedback on this, and I may
be able to do something with it.
