I'dd say the "namless horror" of this piece was probabvly Gendo's
"little talk." Also, 
  Re the bit where  Gendo assumed the "Gendo pose" 

 Wll this  (or an alternate version of this) become the next phrase
taken for granted by fanfic writers (next to "big-sweated" etc.)?
