Antarctica.  Pretty decent story, overall.  I try not to actively hate
Gendo in general, and it's nice to have a story that can actually view
him as a (more-or-less) normal person, instead of evil personified.

The blurb that ADV put on the back of the Genesis 0:1 box suggests
that all the Children were conceived at the moment of Second Impact,
but I don't know how canonical that is.  The only person we know for
sure to be directly responsible for Second Impact is Misato's father.
As far as characterization of Gendou is concerned, I like to think
that he didn't become a total bastard until after Yui's accident
with EVA-01, which I initially expected would be the point where
Pages would end.
