And Plea for mercy.
Ummm.
You don't wanna know.
You don't wanna ask me about it, cause I might have to tell you.
But it involves the Bat Book, That Which the Bat Book references, and the MTA that Dare Not Speak Its Name. And the total replacement of my main systems, piece by piece. And a four month haitus from service by my _favorite_ phone company, Bell South.
So, now I have 200-some mails to answer.
I'm working on it.
I'm also working on the next part of RAALS, but for various reasons, it is slow going.
On the gripping hand, I have replotted and extended the whole series by a conservative 200%. On the non-gripping hand, that probably means I won't finish for two or thjree years. High ho.
The replot includes a new prologue, revampings of chapters 1-3, an extreme rework of chapter 4, the splitting off of the former 4c to a chapter all it's own. and the extension of the numbering scheme, so that what was chapter 5 is now chapter 6.
Which I am working on, as mentioned.
Also, I split a lot of the talking heads off into side arcs, so they don't interfere with the story too much, and added a fair amount of author's notes.
And the MP3s are _up_, and will _stay_ up this time!
New website, now on its own server, new structure to hold that server.
It is at http://www.kawaiikunee.com/slp/index.html
I went into business for myself, doing Web Design, Computer Consulting, Hosting, Mirroring, Mailing lists, etc.
Anybody got any work they need done. I'm cheap, really. A good bargain, you might say.
(Big Appealing Eyes)
I'm going to Neko-Con, and will hopefully appear on the fanfic panel.
Also starting several new series, the first two of which are on the new page, and also should show up on the FFML shortly (like tonight).
A little more patience,
Yours very respectfully,
Eric Hallstrom, CC, PhD, UBIP,etc.
My motivation is down the tubes and it's only the images in my head of me
dressed in a long black trenchcoat, wielding a katana, standing over the
disembowelled corpses of the fuckwit senior management around here that
keeps me going. Well, we've all got to have ambitions, don't we ?
