Bravo.  I applaud you.
For myself, I rather enjoyed this work.  It's rare to see generally
despised characters written well in serious works.  Then again, Lara seems
to have a history of that.

I think Chris has a point, though.  Second Impact changed the lives
of everyone on Earth in the EVA universe.  What was it like for Yui
and Gendou?  I think the story should have some mention of it, unless
we're meant to assume it takes place immediately after the end.

The only other problem I have with Pages is that it's difficult to
conceive of how Fuyutsuki could end up working so closely with Gendou
-- in a subordinate position, at that! -- given how much he resents
him as depicted in this story.  Otherwise, I find Pages to be an
excellent character study, especially of Yui, who isn't often examined
in EVA fanfic (one exception being the EVA R episode where her soul
possesses Rei.)
