Here's part 2. Sorry it's late and sorry it's short, but That's the best
I could do. Also this chapter was rather hard to write about, but I

Chapter 2: The black fleet.
Finally, after about ten minutes of waiting I made contact with the
President of the Republic.
He looked like he had been sleeping, wearing a white robe. He was
yawning and stretching. He did this for about three minutes until he
answered. "What do you wan Mister President? I was trying to sleep."
I didn't really care what the hell he was doing, all I wanted to
know was why his ships hadn't been forced out of Mars colony's space.
"Whatever, I don't care. Now tell me why the hell your ships are still
in Mars space?"
A small smile formed on Phillip's face. "You don't know? That's what
I was called away from our meeting for. Me and President Archan of the
Mars Federation have an alliance."
"Damn it! It's our planet, not your, not theirs. Ours!" I was really
losing control of my anger.
"I'm sorry Mister President, but it's not really your choice, is it
now?" Said Phillip in a rather smug tone.
I couldn't stand it anymore, this was driving me mad! "Fine! Call up
President Archan! I want to meet with him and you tomorrow, thirteen
hundred hours. Come or you'll regret it!"
"Is that a threat, Mister President?"
I slammed my fist on the table much like I did earlier today at the
meeting. "Maybe it is. Either way, we're meeting, or guns are fired."
"Okay, then we will meet, Moon Base x1 I presume?" I nodded so he
continued. "Okay then, I'll see what I can do. You owe me for this. Good
day Mister President" And his image vanished from the screen.
Moon Base x1 was neutral territory where anyone could meet and not
be subject to Neither Earth Government or Republic laws. Of course there
were still law's, but neither side held any political power there. The
perfect place for meetings between nations.
Quickly turning my attention back to matters at hand, I started to
press buttons on the pad. after a few seconds an image of a middle age
man appeared on the screen. He wore a blue, Military uniform of Earth
Government. "What do you want Sir?"
I thought for a second, thought if this was right or not. "Move the
first and second fleets to the Mars border and have them stand guard."
"Yes sir! Is that all?"
"Yes General." And then I ended the transmission and decided to go
to sleep..........
A few hours later over fifty ships were standing on the border. Most
of them were heavy cruiser. Giant ships over three hundred meters in
length. They were all painted blue and done in the shape of an arrow
head. On the side of the ship was the Earth Government insignia painted
on top of the blue.
There were six battle ships though. Almost twice the size of the
cruiser. It was painted all red with the Earth Government insignia on
them. Shaped like giant oval these ships could carry up to ten
Evangelist class fighters.
They waited at the border, hoping that nothing would happen. Hoping
it would just be another mission, just another day. But there was great
fear in the people, they were prepared for war, but they didn't like it.
Their orders could be the cause of this war. It only takes one small
mistake to change everything.
Luck was against them though. On the fifth hour of waiting something
happened.
A ship appeared out of nowhere, no, not one ship, ten ships. Painted
all black with a large green sphere painted on it. The green sphere on a
black background was the Mars colony flag.
They were massive, about a mile long. They were shaped like giant tubes.
Doors opened on the belly of the ship, and that's when it began.
Then the fighters came pouring out of the ships. Dozens of black,
scythe blade shaped fighters poured out of the carrier vessel. Each one
of the fighters was marked with the Mars colony symbol.
With the element of surprise the battle began. But it didn't last
long. As soon as the fleet of black ships opened fire on the Earth
Government ships they were almost all obliterated. Explosions were
everywhere and debris was flung all around.
The Earth government ships that were left over after the first enemy
strike fired back with full weapons. All their beams converged on one of
the black fighters, but did nothing. The ship looked like it hadn't even
been hit. Now that they had got it's attention it came towards them and
fired, removing part of the hull of one of the ships. After that, the
battle lasted for only a few more seconds.
After only about a minute of combat the whole Earth Government fleet
was destroyed, everyone on the ships were dead. Over fifteen thousand
men and women lost their lives, without harming the enemy.
When the black fleet finished looking over it's prey it vanished
again.........
