Ranma's curse, midway through the story, through some combination of
conditions, activates the "scientist" part, which will also affect uncursed
form
Ranma [at end] Traveled back in time to observe the original formation of
the spring.
He missed target both spacially and temporally, and while searching for
Jusenkyo valley becomes somehow locked in cursed form.
She finds Jusenkyo and sets out camp near [someone supply the word
nyannichuan with "drowned" replaced by "notyetdrowned"]
then, she gets the notion into her head to get some readings on an uncursed
spring, so she goes back to [springname] to take some data. Of course,
anyone who knows how uncursed Jusenkyo springs work will know this is a bad
idea, but she didnt consider it because of her mind being slightly clouded
by the effects of this. She trips and falls into the spring, drowning.
approx 1500 years later, canon progresses as usual until the entire nerima
crew participates in the exchange program.
expect the scene to play without names as a prelude, then again [with names]
at the end of the story, since it's in sequence chronologically in both
places.
