Yo. You may remember how I put up something on Rei. Well first of all,
I'd
like to thank almost everyone who wrote in. Almost, you ask. Well, this
brings me to point two. I recieved a pretty nasty E-mail from some called
The Eternal Lost...something or other. He was dissing and swearing and all
that. Now I have been a bit like Steve Austin myself, sometimes, but I
don't go off at anyone, bite their head off, or criticise or swear, well,
I
don't swear unless it's someone who doesn't have a problem with swearing.
I'm not sure if anything can be done about this, but I thought that I
should let you know.
Welcome to the real world, Mr. Plancke. People will disagree with you.
People will disrespect you. And people will flame you. And guess what? The
only thing you can do about it is delete their messages and killfile them.
Whining to the FFML administrators about private e-mail responses won't get
you anywhere. Especially if you do it on the list. All it'll get you is a
lot more flames from a lot of people who aren't even involved.
You're upset because I sent you a 'pretty nasty E-mail'. Tough. It's fairly
well known around these parts that I tend to be blunt, to the point of
rudeness, in expressing my opinions. That's just my style. I don't deal in
bullshit or sugary sweet coating. You've experienced this now. If you don't
like it, then in the future, I suggest you killfile me, or delete anything
I send regarding anything you've written. That's really the only thing you
can do when someone flames you for something you posted to the FFML.
Whining about it to the admins, again, is not going to endear you to
anybody. If you can't deal with some negative criticism, then you are *not*
going to find the FFML a pleasant place to be, because not everybody is
going to agree with everything you say, and some will probably disagree
more vehemently than others. Again, welcome to the real world.
