The best part of the convention was of course cosplay. No, wait...
that was
the
worst part. For over three hours hundreds of people dressed as Squall
and
Team Rocket
No offense, dude, but i was one of those in line, and there was a much
larger variety of characters doing the cosplay stuff, from Slayers,
Revolutionary Girl, EVA, and a number of Ranma 1/2 characters
[suprisingly there were a LOT of Sailor Scouts @ the con, but few in
the cosplay line]. Even I wasn't in a costume, yet I was drafted into
a Ranma cosplay that parodied the Jerry Springer show ["People who
change into other things, and the men and women who love them!"].
stood in the main convention hall trying to look good
while
sweating all of their bodily fluids. Even stranger was that one of
the video
rooms was used for the viewing of the cosplay. And there were just as
many
people sweating their bodily fluids there as well.
Overall, I do agree that it was a good con. I just wish that the
walk-in booth was open later than it was [only open til 6pm].
