Interesting.  Is this Warhammer cannon?  I'm not familiar with that game.  It
is, however, nice to have an explanation for why humans no longer possess
psionic power or much magic.

Well in 40k continuity the talent for being a pyscher or warp bender
is limited to like one in a million or billion
but when you have over 20 billion on one planet
and have hundereds of planets...
