Yo, what's up ya all? You want to know how I'm feeling, I've pretty much
been to hell and back. Anyway, I was wondering, you may have heard of this
idea I had with Rei in my fic. Well, as far as authenticity goes, would
that work? It's not proven that she died, right? So there's about a fifty
fifty chance, either way. Also, what do you think of it personnaly? What
was it? I'll show you.
"This is Hideo Jun, report to Reine Bond. I'm at what's left of the entry
plug of Eva Unit 00. Evaulation, total loss. The pilot," he pauses,
"vaporised." Hideo needed a drink. He found his second in command and
handed over juristiction to him. Hideo's mind was a mess, he had a gut
feeling that this was only the beginning. Hideo decided to walk back to
where he was staying. About two kilomitres from the wreakage of Eva 00,
Hideo thought he was seeing things. He blinked, looked again, but there was
no mistaking it. On a bush was what looked like a piece of cloth. Hideo
went to pick it up. It was white, with black writing on one side of it, two
00. Hideo was suddenly very, very thirsty. He pocketed the piece of cloth
and took out a mobile phone, diling a number.
"C'mon, pick up," he said to himself. Someone did pick up, but before the
person could say anything, Hideo started talking.
"Irvine, listen to me. I found a piece of cloth near the wreakage of Eva
00. I think it's from Rei."
"What?" Irvine asked. "You don't think that Rei survived."
"I don't know." Hideo heard a woman's voice.
"So what's that doing there?"
"Damn," Hideo whispered as he recognised Reine's voice.
"I don't know. Maybe some kind of message?" Hideo suggested.
"Saying 'I'm not dead', perhaps," Irvine said.
"Maybe it's saying that she's quit NERV, and has been enlisted as part of
a military role for SEELE."
"I don't think so," Irvine said. "Rei's not that type of person."
"Well, in any case, watch your back, Jun," Reine said.
I was watching Our Century last Sunday night. If you don't know what it
is, it looks at Australia in the past century. This one was on bushies.
Well, I believe a comment I remember fits Rei well, the comment was three
things to be a true Aussie. I can only remember two of them; that you have
to be as tough as a show bull and that you have to have a wit dryer than
the Simpson desert. Well, I'll tell you now, Rei is the toughest bitch I
ever saw. Bar none, name someone who's tougher. And her wit? Look at
episode six. Sure, she was probably serious, but I got a laugh out of it at
least. Also, more than one picture I've seen of Rei makes her look
Australian. Intresting, don't you think? Maybe Yui had some Australian
blood in her?
I remember hearing a rumour about Rei. It was Chris Davies who reminded me
about it. Rei and Gendou. They wearn't, it's a bit hard for me to say. Um,
they wearn't involved...sexually, as far as any of you know, were they?
One more thing. From the series or the movies or anything, was it proven
without doubt that Rei was killed by Naoko Akagi? Thanks for whatever help
