Point in fact: It's called the Galactic Federation, and it's 
certainly not limited to Terrans from its original conception (ref.

original 

Metroid  instruction book).

I'm going simply by what I know from Super Metroid as I have never played
the original. I might have to make this an Alt. Reality fic, then,
because I've got ideas of what I want to happen and how, and think it
might be good. Of course, this IS my first fic, so I am learning. 

  Unless the Zebethian Pirates or the Kihunters are involved somehow 
(for revenge), this seems like the government is going back on their 
word. They HIRED Samus to exterminate all the Metroids, after all.
  Incidentally, it was Zebes that was destroyed, not the Metroid 
homeworld (SR388).

I'll have to edit the teaser, then, so that Zebes is the destroyed
planet. Their is a twist to the whole "Genecide" thing later in the story
line, and I know it seems as though tje government is going back on their
word. 

I had planned to feature Zebethian Pirates in this story (If I remember,
Mother Brain was a Zebethin Pirate, the leader of them) but I don't
remember what the Kihunters are. 

Maybe I should just drop the whole storyline and try something else. I
wanted to do a short fic based on the past relationship of Gyis and
Samus, really. I don't know, I still may do it, if I can work the bugs
out.
