Fire?  Why fire?  She's a djin, not an efreet.

She was changed by fire and thunder stones.  Her form when captured was a 
firey orange light.  I was going to go with Electric/Fire, but Ghost fit 
better with a genie theme.  Yes, Misty can learn Thunder, Thunderwave, and 
Thunderbolt.

        Picking the ball up, Ash said, "All right, I've got Mr. Mime."

Ha ha.  I'm moving epsiodes around to deal with a slight glitch.  I'll deal 
with the circus in a bit.  I don't want to do a novelization of the episode 
with very few changes.  IMPO there's been enough of that with Ranma.

must be a limitation on the wish power, otherwise it would give guaranteed 
victory.
Perhaps all it allows her to do is materialise solid objects in which case 
it couldn't
provide a cure for her condition.

You mean having Ash have to make the wishes is not enough of a limitation? 
^_^  I don't think Misty trusts Ash to make that kind of wish for her.
