IIRC, at the end of the second Ranma movie (Nihao My Concubine?), Ranma uses a
yellow beam to destroy that spring on the floating island (I'm not even going
to try to spell the name).  Also, in the same movie, Ryoga fires a
blueish-black beam at the monkey-man.

Heh, that's jogs the old memory - probably where I pulled the assumption from in the first
place: drat this aging brain. :)
