What?

The Time Stream always corrected a paradox by the simplest manner
possible. Sometimes the simplest manner possible consisted of causing a
sun to nova at the wrong time though so we really don't want to mess
with it.

I'll clarify that bit.

I understand the general principle.

What will he do?

Uh. Sere. An arabic word meaning...to do...stuff.
Thought the spell check would catch that.

Not when it's a real word.  "Sere" means "devoid of green growing stuff".  For example 
if he were to shave Setsuna's head...
