Hi all. Here's my question. I only saw one Ranma movie and that was before I 
even got onto the internet or heard of the ffml. Anyways, it was the one 
where Kirin and the 7 lucky gods kidnapped Akane cause she was holding a 
scroll or something.

My question is, does Ranma really have to have all the right conditions to 
pull off the Hiryu Shoten Ha(HSH)? Maybe the film I watched was heavily 
censored as there was virtually no fight scene. Ranma just ran through the 7 
lucky gods and the fight with Kirin ended with only one move thrown, the 
HSH. Just before he did the move, there was a voice over where Ranma said he 
had to put all his power into that one move. Then he just thrust his fist 
into the air and the show was basically over. No set up before the move, no 
long fianl fight scene.

Anyway, here's a top 10 for anime characters most likely to buy a bag of 
magic beans on their way to the market.
10.Son Gohan from DBZ- he's smart but a little too inoncent
9. Zelgadis Greweirs from slayers- It might cure his condition
8. Ranma from Ranma 1/2- see no.9
7. Chibi-Usa from Sailormoon- see no.6
6. Usagi aka Sailormoon from herself- She might very well fall for the old 
magic beans routine
5. Misato from Evangelion - Argh! I forgot who's on the list. Anyway, If 
she's drunk, She'll buy em'
4. Rei Ayanami from Evangelion - I forgot most of my list so I'm making it 
up as i go along, and she'd buy em if Gendo ordered her to.
3. Gourry Gabriev from Slayers- C'mon, you know he'd buy em'
2. Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyo-nuf' said
1. Son Goku from DBZ- not only would he buy em, since he's jobless and lives 
in the middle of nowhere, it's likely Chi Chi would send him off to the 
market to sell off some off their possesions.
