Initial Chapter: Evil Incarnate
A man branded with the turmoil of his own existence toiled in his bed. His
anguish was amplified by the memories of pass experiences. The faces of
those that he had wronged whaled in his mind like restless vengeful spirits.
No peace could calm his uneasy soul. This was his punishment for what he
done, what he lived for, what he was.
In his mind he was running, but to no avail. A cloud of blackness followed
him like a predator to its prey. There was no escape for him. The abyss
that he was in was endless nothingness. The impending torment was to every
side. Sensing that there was no hope, he dropped to his knees and
resentfully accepted his fate. The cluttered mass of darkness crept up to
him and halted before this now broken man.
A figure slowly descended from amongst the cloud. With little response in
his actions, the broken man looked away from the figure as it took complete
form. Now there stood another man of medium build, before the larger man,
who was almost lifeless at this point. There was a menacing appeal to him
as he walked up to his target. Each step resonated with the pain in the
broken mans soul.
The dark one placed his hand upon the shoulder of the other man, and he
began to beckon him. He gave words of wicked reasoning, promises for a
release to his agony. With no objection, his victim rose to his feet.
They began to return to the dark cloud together, but someone stopped them.
A being covered in light glowed amongst the darkness. It was a female of
angelic demeanor. The light that surrounded her spread throughout the abyss.
It reached up to the point of contact with the first man, yet it did not
exceed that point. It was as if the light was not allowed beyond there, or
as if the light could not defeat that of the dark there. The lady called
out to the tortured man. He turned toward her, and inched toward her
direction. He did not completely cross over to the side of light; he
equally was positioned between the light and darkness. There he stood in a
proverbial purgatory. He could feel both sided pulling on him. Neither
willing to yield to the other. Their prize screamed as he was torn apart.
Back in the world of the real, the man woke with a horrendous jolt from his
bed. He was covered in a cold sweat, and tensed like an over-wound spring.
He raised his hands to his face, and rubbed his brow. They remained there
over his eyes like a cover from all that could harm him.
A soothing voice met his ears, as a reassuring hand touched his shoulder.
He quickly jerked away and stared in their direction. His eyes beheld the
same female he saw in the darkness. His faced grimaced. With a disgruntled
look, he stood up from the bed and started toward the door. The lady stood
up from the side of the bed, but her forward motion froze as the man yelled
at her.
I TOLD YOU TO NEVER ENVADE MY MIND!
You needed me. Why do you continue to push me away Michael? I know of
your pain, and I can help you end it.
I dont want or need your help Gabriela! What is in my mind is for my
knowledge and MY KNOWLEDGE ONLY! I never asked for your help, so dont give
it.
You cant continue to run from your anguish. It will only grow stronger
from your guilt. Eventually, you will not be able to get away from it. If
you want to survive, you will have to defeat it.
I have know desire to conquer what haunts me. If it were not for it, I
would not be on your side now. Therefore, I will only tell you this one
more time. STAY OUT OF MY HEAD!
Michael turned away from her and existed from the room completely. Gabby
fell back onto the end of the bed. She remained there as her mind ran over
the reasons why she could never reach out to Michael and get him to accept
her. They should be closer than any other two people in this world. Their
purpose for living united them, but ones inability to let go forced them
apart.
With no plausible answer to her woes, she stood up and began to float in
place. Her thoughts focused on her other comrade Raphael. He always knew
what to say to make her feel better, after Michael would shun her. Her body
began to shimmer as she faded away to Raphael.
There is no time for this trio to bicker between one another. The time that
they have been preparing for, is at hand. They must be a complete unit, if
they are to be successful, because very soon the fate of the world will be
on their shoulders.
****Come to the Beginning. See with blind eyes*****
Some stories are written, others are born. They are bits and pieces of
shattered thoughts thrown in place and held together by a thick mucus
concept. Filling the void can be as tedious as determining the differences
of black & white, and depicting exactly where gray occurs between.
If this collection of meaningless words have served their purpose of
focusing your attention long enough to cause a reaction of any sort, please
feed the flame that spawned their conception.
The fact that I become a better writer when I am depressed is so funny, its
sad. I thought I told you to go read a pokemon fic KiD!
