                            Chapter 10: Majin

    I awoke in a large chamber, made of white limestone. It was rather
large, only lit by torches on the wall. All the other's were awake and
looking up at the front of the room where a figure sat on a diamond
throne.
    The throne was shining white diamonds. The back was in the shape of
the cross and the female figure leaned back on it. Her hands were
resting on the arms rests.
    The woman was about six feet tall with long white hair. Her eye's
were a very light blue, almost whitish in color. She wore a long white
robe with golden cross adorning it. On her head was a sapphire crown.
    The woman smiled as she looked at all of us. "Welcome to my castle.
I am Myila, God, or Goddess as my form dictates. Now bow down before
your creator or perish."
    My only response was, "WHAT!"
    Myila smiled at me as she ran a hand through her hair. "You didn't
know? I am your God, I have created you and I can smite you. Now bow
down to me and then go. Go of your own free will or die."
    Amiel stepped forward and drew her sword. "Damn you! We won't go
back. We'll see you dead!"
    Myila smiled as she reached into the sleeve of her robe and pulled
out a wad of bills. She then threw it to Amiel. "There's your pay. You
protected Phillip well. Now take the money and go."
    Amiel'e eye's widened as she looked at the bills and then back at
Myila. "You hired me to protect him. Why?"
    Myila looked over the whole group and her smile widened. "Because I
wanted the play to reach the final act."
    I stepped another foot forward and drew my gun. "What do you mean
play?"
    "Play. It's all a play didn't you know. That's what I've been doing.
This is all a play, you are all actor's, and this whole thing was part
of a play. But a real play, and it had to be real to enjoy it. You all
played the part well. To bad you know to much, or I would use you for
another play."
    "Damn you!" I charged at him, blade drawn and ready for combat. But
I didn't reach him. I was sent backward's by some opposing force. It
threw me back a meter. Straight onto my ass.
    Myila laughed at my pathetic attempt to attack her. "Are you going
to go away, or are you going to die?"
    No one bothered to answer that question, we all held our ground.
Even me, once I got up off the floor that is.
    Myila frowned at all of us and shook her head. "What a pity, a pity
indeed. I really wish I didn't have to kill you. It takes awhile to get
the blood off the floor."
    Myila rose from her throne, looking like she was about to attack.
Then she stopped moving, turned to her left, barely in time to dodge a
small knife heading toward's her. She didn't have enough time to evade
the whole hit. The blade sliced across the right side of her face,
leaving a diagonal, bleeding cut.
    Myila screamed at the shadow in the right corner. "Damn you! Coward,
come out!"
    A figure then emerged from the large shadow. It was male, with short
black hair and dark black eye's. He was tall, very tall and dressed in a
black sweater and a black te-shirt. His eye's and face showed a lack of
any true emotion. "Long time no see."
    Myila pulled up her long white sword and pointed it at the man.
"Damn you Lucifer! You've bothered me fore many thousands of years. But
I'll see you dead today!"
    Lucifer smiled and that and drew his long black sword. "We'll see
Myila, we'll see." He then looked back at Sahia and a frown was cast on
his face. "Sahia, get out of here with your friend's. I'll hold him
off."
    Sahia nodded as she turned toward's the open door and ran through
it, soon followed by the other's..........
    I ran down the long limestone hallway with extreme haste. The
flickering torch light cast many shadow's on the wall. But I had no time
to look at them, I had to run down this hallway. The hallway that seemed
to go on forever.
    Andrew looked back down the hall and sighed. "I need that book
dammit! I'm going back!"
    I looked at him and shook my head as I turned the corner. "For god's
sake man! You'll be killed. So come on you idiot. You'll find other
book's later on in life."
    Andrew looked down at the floor and sighed. "Maybe..... But I have
to warn you that I won't stay with you much longer. Being attacked by
god is not my idea of an enjoyable day."
    "Fine by me."..........
    We exited the large building to look out onto the world below us. We
were on a small floating island or something. It looked like we were
about six thousand meter's into the air. I could see the whole world
from up here, and that scared me.
    I looked back at all the mages and only one question came into my
mind. "What are we going to do now?"
    Amiel looked back at me and frowned. "Your idea's as good as mine.
Anyone got the hang of a good teleport spell?"
    The other mages shook their heads at that comment, proving that no
one knew a good teleport spell. Or any other teleport spell.
    Andrew looked back at the towering castle they had just escaped.
"Okay. If Lucifer lost, which he probably did, it only leaves one
option. We sit here and die."
    Sahia scowled at Andrew and shook her head. "No, he won't lose.
Never! It's impossible! IMPOSSIBLE"
    "Nothing's impossible." A female voice full of spite said from
behind them.
    We all turned around to see Myila. She was floating a meter in the
air, panting heavily. Her white robe was covered with blood and her face
was scarred slightly and her clothes were torn all over. "Damn you, you
meddling brats. Now a pox upon you and your world. Hear my Symphony of
Blasphemy!"
