Just throwing out my one Matrix idea 'cuz the idea is a bit too much for
me to do.

THE MATRIX ROCKS!!!!

Sorry, had to get it out my system, watched it again last night. ^_^

In the Matrix, the characters (or at least Neo) is just beginning to see
that there are practically no limits while in the 'trix. Maybe someone
(either some genius or some idiot) gets the idea of recruiting teenagers,
since they're weird enough to understand the whole Matrix thing. Anyway,
they come to the real world and catch onto what Neo can also do. 

You mean like learn jujitsu in ten seconds? :D

With
that, they are able to make themselves into the anime characters we all
know and love. No need to call the teens by their to be anime character
names just yet. Put the names in when they start discovering their
abilities. Like some weirdo who likes to hide things in his clothes
becomes Mousse. A newbie kendo student lacking speed makes himself like
Kenshin. A hot-headed red-head that wants to pilot a giant robot becomes
Asuka. And a couple obsessed with Star Wars becoming Tenchi and Ryoko. And
slap on a title like 'birth of the superhero' and you have a mutli-cross
fanfic.

Hm...could also make one psychotic otaku wish-fulfillment fic, too,
couldn't it? ;p

Seriously, though, I think Matrix is _prime_ fanfic material.  I dunno if
by itself it counts as 'anime' and will be accepted on RAAC, but I think
there's some excellent fics just waiting to happen there.  I'd write one or
two or three myself if I wasn't so bogged down with the stuff I'm working
on now.
