male-female and female-male. Yes, Ranma will probably do a guy as a
girl. As to whether the oni will be in Ranma or the guy, I haven't
decided. Probably Ranma. Lots and LOTS of sex.

I think that if you _really_ want to do this... you shouldn't use Ranma (I
_know_ the gender-shifting would makes things interesting, but It's Been Done,
Repeatedly).  There are quite a few other characters out there which would be
useful in such cases, most of whom are new and many of whom would not be
terribly predicable.  

My suggestions: 

  Akane (especially considering her projection problems alluded to on the RML)

  Nodoka (hers are worse)

  Ryoga (instant cure for shyness)

  Kuno (ok the lust couldn't be much worse, but if he became as irrisistable as
he thinks he is....)

  Kasumi (_Too_ obvious, but too funny to be ignored)

  Gosunkugi (Need I Say More?)

  <I'm tempted to add Soun, but that won't go over well in some quarters>

It would be even more interesting if the Oni grants its host various
physical/magical powers as it grows stronger (boosted physical abilities as
well as That Which Belongs In H-Fics), possibly enough to make any physical
attempt to exorcize it or emotional appeal to the possessed extremely futile.
