Interesting idea.
However, IMO, eye colour is a little flimsy as a basis
for
doubting parentage. (esp. if you use anime. The
purists' on FFML will
surely get you. ^_~)
IMO blood type is a better indicator. Japanese also
think of blood type as
an indicator of personality so this allows for various
sub-plots.
IMO Ranma(girl) is a different person, physically,
from Ranma(boy) Recall
that Ryouga, Shan Pu, Mu Tsu and Taro all change
body-mass AND species. Different
organs, heme-groups, enzymes, neuro-transmitters. (I
won't even mention Rouge).
Therefore it would not be implausible for Ranma(girl)
to have a different blood type.
Akane could make a perfeclty honest mistake with lots
of comedic consequences.
It think it's a good idea, I'm just not certain that
eye-colour is the best indicator to use. ^_^

I'll keep this short.
In Biology class Akane learns about a
Punitt's(SP?) Square. For
those who aren't familiar with that, it's a chart
that more or less
indicates what color eyes one's child will have.
Akane learns that two
brown-eyed parents cannot have a blue-eyed child
(unless both parents are
heterozygotes, which is rather rare).
For an assignment, Akane uses the Punitt's
Square, with Genma and
Nodoka, and discovers that they may not be Ranma's
parents after all. Akane
ends up struggling with whether or not she should
tell Ranma about it, or
even if she's right in her findings.
It isn't much, but I wanted to see if I
should run with it. Thanks!
