Well here's the latest part of the fic. Sorry it's so late. Well I
don't suppose any of you are reading it anymore, got no C&C in a LONG
while.
Oh yes, a warning about this fic. I recently read the "How to write
a good fic" posting. Or something like that. And then I realized, my
character's are not realistic in any way, they just perform actions.
This is because my story is heavily plot based and therefore plot is
more important then character developement.
Well sorry for rambling. *_*
WARNING: This fic contains blood, murder and demonic and religious
themes. Sorry, no rape.

Chapter 8: Fools.
I had been looking around the school grounds for about twenty
minutes, trying to find Sarah, but to no avail. I had looked everywhere
but yet she was no where to be found.
I sighed as I sat down on an old wooden bench. It was the only bench
that they hadn't been replaced, all the other's were replaced by brand
new ones. But soon they would be like this one, broken and rotting.
I closed my eyes and leaned back, hearing a creaking sound from the
bench. I wished I could find her, she was really beautiful, and unlike
Amy, she didn't try to kill him. And that was definitely a plus.
"Hey Phil!" The familiar voice rung through my ears.
I opened my eye's to see Matthew looking down at me with a smile. I
straightened up and looked him straight in the eyes with a glare of
annoyance. "What do you want Matthew?"
Matthew was taken back by that and he moved back a bit. "I know why
your so angry, I'm sorry I haven't been talking to you lately, I've been
rather busy. But I'll try to make it up yo you. First of all, I know
where Sarah is."
My dark glance turned a lot warmer at that comment. I quickly hopped
onto my feet and grabbed Matthew's shoulders. I then shook them wildly.
"Where is she?"
Matthew quickly pushed away from my grasp and pointed toward's the
area where I usually have lunch. "She's over there, catch her before she
goes.
I smiled, nodded and gave Matthew my thanks. I then ran across the
school yard towards the park........
"So did you get through to your friends?" Asked Amy while leaning
against the large tree.
Sarah shook her head as she looked up at the large, hot sun, in the
clear blue sky. "No, they jammed communication's for the moment, so they
won't be traced, someone must be on to them. But how about you Nikee?"
Mrs. Davis shook her head as well, sighing with grief. "No, can't
get through. The Evangelist communication's are monitored constantly.
And anyway's, I'm a renegade, and under sentence of death if found, I
won't find any help there."
Andrew drank a little coke from the can and looked over at Mrs.
Davis. "We still have Myila's seal, the three aligned stars. Is there
some way to link her with the crimes."
Mrs. Davis shook her head again, which showed an annoying pattern.
"No, she rules everything. She'll just bribe her way out of it, that's
if we can even get her convicted of the crime. Accusing a high ruler of
any crime at all will get you killed. Myila lives in a fortress of
politics, and we can't penetrate the walls."
Andrew pulled the seal out of his black jeans pocket. It was rather
small, red, and made of a wax like substance. But it was stronger then
steel, despite it's size and appearance. On the circular seal was three
star's aligned in a triangular position, which symbolized Myila's
control. "Dammit! But what happen's if we get Morbid, or Ieler, or
whatever other name he goes by. If we have him then we have proof of the
crimes."
Amy moved a little closer to Andrew, and then hit him hard on the
head. "We won't be able to do that either. She is totally protected from
anything we have. Fighting her right now is idiotic, we have to wait."
Sarah looked at Amy and Andrew and then shook her head. She would
have sworn the two were flirting. "Unless we kill him."
Everyone turned to look at Sarah, shocked. They each blinked three
or four times, and then Mrs. Davis responded. "Your kidding right? If a
bunch of human's, and demon's, waltz in their and kill Myila then it
will be a declaration of war. A war that mankind is not prepared to
fight."
Sarah put her hand on Mrs. Davis's right shoulder, gently. "Look.
They've already waged war. There is no formal declaration, but there is
still a declaration. Myila is planning world domination, and frankly we
have to stop her."
There was a long drawn out silence following that comment. There was
no talking, and no real movement, just silence. But that was soon broken
by the sound of Amy's voice. "I think there's someone listening."
Amy motioned for everyone to stay put. She then moved through the
high grass, slowly but quickly. Then, in a blink of an eye, she raised
her hand into the sky and the sound of someone yelling came from the
grass.
Everyone then moved quickly, and rather noisily, toward's the sound.
Once they reached there they found an high school student, under a bind
spell, struggling to get free. And that student was me, Phillip
Greenwood, and I had the feeling I was going to die......
I looked up at the four people. Amy, Sarah, Andrew and Mrs. Davis. I
had just overheard their conversation and was rather confused. No wait,
cross that out, I was amazingly confused. Who was this Myila, and what
was all this talk of war and Evangelist's?
Amy looked back at the other's and sighed, this complicated things a
little. "What should we do with him? He's most likely heard most things
we said."
Andrew looked down at my body lying there, and he grinned. "Kill
him."
Mrs. Davis shrugged her shoulder's. "I would prefer not to kill
anyone, but if we have to then we should. What do you think Sarah?"
And that was the worst thing of all, Sarah was with them. "I don't
really think we should kill him. Maybe we could use him as an ally?"
Amy looked at Sarah with a black stare. "You gotta be kidding? This
idiot? Your insane." She quietly thought for second and then shrugged
her shoulder's. "But I also have to protect this guy, so maybe we should
take him along."
Before I could protest, or try to get something explained a floating
skull appeared in the air. Amy reached for her sword but Sarah motioned
for her to sheath it saying that the skull was a messenger.
The skull glowed with an unnatural red tint, it spun around slowly
with an annoying grin on it's skinless face. "I bring a message from
Morbid. He want's to meet you on the roof of the school, at midnight.
And he say's bring Phillip Davis." The floating skull then exploded into
nothingness.
Andrew sighed as he looked don at the ground. "Looks like that
solves our problem. So are we going to go or not?"
I decided to talk then, hoping they wouldn't start beating me up
because of it. "I don't think you should. You do know it's a trap."
Sarah nodded as she looked over at me with a smile. "He's right you
know. This is a trap. He'll probably have thousand's of Shadow Scourge's
waiting up there for us."
Mrs. Davis looked at the school not that far away. "We have no
choice. Let's go plan a battle strategy. No need for classes at the
moment."
So they all agreed. Except me, who was still under the influence of
some sort of bind spell. I felt like I was in some sort of TV show, or a
comic book. This was not a dream, but it was just as confusing as one.
Maybe they could explain some of this. And it's true. Life IS stranger
then fiction..........
