Matrix Dragon Presents....
Ocarina's Love 4d
Ranma looked at Ucchan's. The sign had been pulled down, and
everything inside was covered by sheets. <What's going on here?> he
thought.
<Must be redecorating,> Ranoka replied. <After everything
that's happened lately, she probably felt like a change.>
"Hi Ranchan!" Ukyou called out from across the street. Ranma
ran over to her.
"You wanted to see me?"
"Yeah. Can we walk?" Ranma nodded. As they walked down the
streets, Ukyou began to talk. "Over the past week, we've all been
kinda busy, which was good, because it helped me think." She sighed.
"On the day Ryouga died, Link said something. He didn't direct it to
me, but it still meant something."
"What'd he say?"
"Ryouga thought he had lost the woman he loved, when he never
had her at all. In a way I'm like that," she said sadly.
Ranma put his hand on her shoulder. "Ucchan. I don't love you
in the way you wish I did. You know that now. But you are my best
friend. You mean a lot to me."
"Yeah, I guess." Ukyou said. "It's just that honor says I have
to marry you."
<Hey Ranma?>
<Do you mind sis? I'm busy here.>
<Mom's divorcing pops right?>
<Yeah.>
<And we're gonna take mom's name aren't we?>
<We are?>
<That way, Pops vow has no strength behind it, right?>
<How long have you been planning this?>
<Since I woke up.> Ranma grinned, and explained the plan to
Ukyou.
"I know that ten years of your life were ruined because of me,
but it's the best I can do."
"It's perfect Ranchan," Ukyou said, smiling. "How long have you been
thinking about this?"
"Since I woke up," Ranma said.
<What?!> Ranoka popped into reality, and whacked Ranma over the head
with a mallet. "You?! I'm the one who came up with it!"
Ukyou stood there. "This is new," she said. "Would you mind
explaining how you appeared out of nowhere, and how you look like
Ranchan's female form?"
Ranoka froze. "She doesn't know about me yet, does she?" Ranma
shook his head. "Damn."

Link leapt from roof to roof, his mind elsewhere.
Nodoka was an Ultima Dragon. That meant Ranma and Ranoka were
Ultima Dragons, seeing as how the Weyrmount accepted the half-breeds.
It also meant he would be able to keep in contact with Britannia
unless he left this world.
"Huh?" _Unless_ he left this world? Didn't he mean until? Link
ran his hand through his hair. As of late, he hadn't really thought
about leaving Earth. Was it because he was too busy dealing with
other problems, or because he wanted to stay?
***
Kaji looked out over the ice, taking pot-shots at his pokemon.
Kasumi had come up with the idea of going to the ice skating rink,
and incredibly enough, the people here let pokemon on.
"I wonder what Akane was so worried about," he said to himself.
"This place seems fairly peaceful."
"Picolet! Picolet!"
"Oh shit, not her." Kaji looked up, reaching for his pokeballs.
Quickly he recalled Wartortle, Pidgeotto and Hitmonchan. Azuza had grabbed
Voltorb, blocking his shot. "Let him go Azuza!"
"I know you! You took my Picolet."
Kaji ground his teeth. "You asked for it. Voltorb,
Thundershock."
"VoltORB!" The ball pokemon unleashed several thousand volts of
electricity, each and every volt slamming in Azuza. Kaji recalled it, and
ran like hell.
He had no desire to deal with Azuza again. The last time had
nearly killed him.
***
Ash ducked, Akane's fist barely missing him. He replied by
punching Akane in he stomach, but Akane grabbed his wrist and threw
him. He hit the dojo floor hard, knocking the breath out of his
lungs. "You win," he admitted.
"She's good," Pikachu said as she helped her trainer to his
feet.
"Not compared to a lot of the people around here," Ranma said
as he walked in. "Compared to me, Link and a few others, Akane's
hopeless."
"What?!" Akane glared at Ranma.
<That was a dumb thing to say Ranma,> Ranoka's mental voice
said.
<Relax, will ya? I've got all this figured out.>
<Why am I not reassured?>
"That's why I've come to a decision. Akane, as of tomorrow,
I'll be taking over your training."
Akane's eyes widened. "You'll train me?" Ranma nodded. The next
thing he knew, Akane had him in a hug that would do Shampoo proud. "Thank
you, Ranma! Thank you!" When she realised that Ranma was
running short of air, she blushed and let go.
Nabiki smiled. <Things are changing all right.>
Pikachu smirked. "Well, according to my watch, I've been human
for twenty-four hours Ash. I win!" Ash went pale.
"Can't we talk about this Pikachu?"
"What? Are you trying to get out of this?! I don't think so
pal!"
"What are you talking about?" Nabiki said.
"Why didn't you warn me Azuza was at the rink?" Kaji yelled out as
he ran in.
"Azuza's in Nerima!" Ash exclaimed.
"Don't try and change the subject," Pikachu said.
"Give me back my Picolet!"
"She followed me! Wartortle, Water Gun!"
"Jean-Luc, Pound!" A Clefairy (What else would she have?) burst
through the roof, slamming into Wartortle's shell.
"Wartortle, Mega Punch!" Wartortle twisted, and hit Clefairy
with a Mega Punch, smashing it through a wall.
Ranoka appeared, demanding to know what was going on. There was the
sound of a gun firing outside, and Clefairy made another hole in the wall,
which Link leapt through a second later. "Dratini, go!"
Nodoka entered the dojo, followed by an unfamiliar man. They
both stared in surprise at the chaos within.
Akane tried to mallet Azuza, but the Kleptomaniac tried to take
'Francis.' Pikachu, who had now remembered Azuza, powered up a
thundershock. Ash sent out Blastoise. Azuza was finally sent into
orbit by a combined Mallet/Mega Punch/Thundershock/Body Slam/Ice
Beam.
Then the roof decided to collapse.
***
Link looked at the man as he left the kitchen. Nodoka had said
this man, Katsuhito Takahashi, was Ranma's and Ranoka's uncle. If she
was telling the truth, then he would most likely be an Ultima Dragon.
"I'll be right back," he said to everyone. He then followed
Katsuhito, who was standing at the edge of the pond. "Mind telling me
the truth?" he said quietly.
"My sister said you'd try to find out who I am," Katsuhito
replied. "It's been a while, elfling."
Link's eyes widened. "Monomolecular?"
"In the magicaly altered flesh. Nice to see you've been looking
after yourself."
"Nodoka's your sister?" When Mono nodded Link grinned. "Talk
about a small Multiverse."
"Look, don't tell Navi about Nodoka and me yet. We've spent the past
few months trying to figure it out. Ever since Nodoka returned to the Weyr,
telling me that you were here and knew about her."
Link shrugged. "If that energy blast didn't occur, I would
never have guessed. Wait a minute.... you said that Nodoka returned
to the Weyr months ago?"
"Yes. You mean you didn't know?"
"Know what?"
Mono sighed. "Time runs at a different speed in every universe. It
runs much faster in Britannia. Someone from Earth ages much slower there
then someone born there."
Link felt like kicking himself. He had known that people like
Lord British and Iolo had been around for several hundred years, but
he had never thought to ask why. "Why haven't I been effected?"
"It may have to do with the Triforce," Mono said. "The same
thing applies to Dragons. We still age at our normal speed no matter
what universe."
"Hey Uncle! You gonna stand out there all day?" Ranma yelled
out.
"I'm coming. Sheesh, kids..."
Link followed behind 'Katsuhito' lost in his own thoughts. <I
still age at a normal speed, Mono said. But what about Hyrule? How
long have I been gone? When I return, will there be anything there
for me?> He clentched his fist. <My home? My friends? Malon, Saria,
even Mido, will they still be there?>

And so ends part four of Ocarina's Love. This part is one of
the longest things I have ever written (The longest is a self-insert
with even more series in it then this one.)
The Ultima Dragons are not an official part of the Ultima
Timeline. They are a online club with. Mono write a story back in
'93, mainly to honor his Dragon friends. The story, Core of Darkness,
was one of the first fanfics I found. For the Ultima Dragons, I have
used bits and pieces of his culture, but also included parts of my
own. Here's hoping it works. I was originally going to splash Ranma
with 'Spring of Drowned Dragonair', but I made him an Ultima Dragon
after Phreakazoid, a friend of mine said that with my love of
crossovers, I would probably use the old 'Tenchi and Ranma are
cousins' technique. This makes certain that ain't gonna happen.
Hmmm... Kaji and Tenchi as cousins... hey, put the knives down, I'm
just kidding.
Kal Jerico is not my creation, and those who know where he's
from will demand to know what the hell is going on. Wait and see.
Last time I said that Ash wouldn't have anything to do with
this. Well, I was writing a spamfic of Ash getting cursed, and the
idea kinda stuck there. I know the direction this series is going,
but I don't have anything in cement. What was the thing Pikachu won?
You'll see, next chapter.
Ranoka was planned from the beginning, although she was going
to just be called Ranko. But another author used this name for
Ranma's female side, and it appealed to me. I can't remember the
authors name though, and I lost his/her story. If you are the author
I'm talking about, e-mail me at Matrix-Dragon@Usa.Net.
The ice skating scene. I was originally going to have Azuza
after the pokemon, her partner trying to kiss Pikachu (getting zapped
of course) and then challenging Kaji and Ranma/Link/Ash to a battle.
But, every time the golden pair make an appearance, there's the ice
skating battle. I felt like doing something different.
In Part Five, Ash suffers the agony of defeat, Kaji, Ranoka and Link
help Ranma with Akane, and the demons identity is revealed! In Part Six, I
am doing the 'Tenchi and Ranma Together Forever' trick,
by taking the story to New York, where Kal Jerico, Bounty Hunter,
gets in over his head.
And now, for those still trying to catch up....
Ocarina's Love Timeline:
Somewhere around 12,000 BC: Elven Kingdom destroyed.
0 A.D: Some poor guy is nailed to a piece of wood for saying
how great it would be if people were nice to each other for a change.
(Anyone who can figure out where that one came from has good taste in
books)
1805: America and Japan both colonise Pokemon Island, neither
colony knowing about the other. Both colonies somehow manage to
survive the large numbers of wild Pokemon. There are stories of a
British colony, believed destroyed.
1809: The American colony, Viridian, and the Japanese colony,
Fuchsia, learn of each others existence. After a brief struggle, an
alliance is formed, and the two colonies form a third settlement,
Saffron. All the settlements are run by a single government. Across
the rest of the world, everyone else tries to figure out how the hell
these two cultures managed to combine and get along.
1834: Pokemon League formed.
1864: A minor gold rush occurs, bringing in new settlers.
1914: First World War begins. Pokemon Island is forced to fight as a
state of America, but plays a very small role due to their lack of a normal
army, and any trainers who enlisted had to leave their pokemon behind.
1926: Pokemon Island becomes a independent country, separate
from both Japan and U.S.A.
1939-45: WWII begins. Pokemon Island stays separate. At least
until Japan invades. Less then a week after Pearl Harbor, Japanese
forces attacked the city-state of Cinnabar Island. Taken by surprise,
the people of Cinnabar Island were overwhelmed, and the Japanese
moved on north, towards Pallet Town. By the time they arrived, The
Pokemon League had assembled, trainers having flown and teleported to
the small town. They were led by the original Elite Four, commanded
by the young woman known as Agatha.
Many historians have claimed that the battle for Pallet was a
turning point in the war, and they would be right. It was technology
versus Pokemon, and the Pokemon won. The planes were no match for the
hurricanes of a Pidgeot, their men no match for the Psychic attacks
of Abra's and their evolved forms. And for the poor people unlucky
enough to make it into close combat, they faced the fighting pokemon.
Quite a few faces were introduced to the Mega-punch.
From that point on, the Pokemon Islands joined forces with the
allies. In a short period of time, the Trainers came to be feared by
their foes. They were found in the battlefields of Europe and the
Pacific, dealing out death to their enemies.
In Papua New Guinea, while aiding the Australian and American
Forces, Agatha met a young Australian soldier by the name of Raymond
Files. Raymond also happened to be a Pokemon Trainer, and had somehow
managed to get his Kangaskhan (C'mon, where else could they come from
_BUT_ Australia? And yes, I am Australian) brought overseas with him.
Raymond found himself joining the Elite Four after Clint Barker, one
of the original members, the original member of the team that used
Ice Pokemon, died at the hand of a Dragonite in Egypt.
Once the Japanese were forced away from Australia, the Pokemon
Islands and the countries near them, the League turned it's attention
to Europe. Here, the battle was one-sided, for not only had Hitler
attempted to destroy the Jews, he had attempted to wipe out all
Psychics, human and Pokemon. Their death cries had called out to the
surviving Psychics across the world, and they cried out for
vengeance. In only a few short years, the Axis forces had been forced
back, and Hitler had vanished, either dead or fleeing.
Despite the joy that came with this victory, it was soured soon
afterwards by the detonation of a nuclear bomb in Hiroshima. The
League believed the the loss in civilian life made them no better
then the enemy.
1967: Former League Champion Raymond Files invents the
pokeball. Trainers now able to have a large number of pokemon. His
student, Michael Oak, soon invents a device that enables the
teleportation of Pokeballs and other equipment, but for over thirty
years, no one can figure out how to do it with most organic matter,
including pokemon out of their pokeballs, except for a short distance
of a few hundred meters. The Psychic ability teleport record for the
longest teleport is set at 23.45 kilometres.
1978: Raymond Files murdered by the then mysterious leader of
the criminal group known as Team Rocket.
1993: Ash Katchum begins his pokemon journey. Insert the
original series of Pokemon here.
1994: Ash beats the Elite Four in style. He then takes on Gary. Very
messy, very bloody fight (I hope to write it as a side story :) Pikachu
invents the move known as the Hand of God. Ash becomes League Champ.
1995: Giovanni captured, sentenced to death. Escapes before
execution. Team Rocket becomes dedicated to the destruction of the
Pokemon League. It seems most of Team Rocket see Giovanni as a god.
1998: Ranma and Genma pay a visit to Jusenkyo. Original Ranma
1/2 series goes here.
July 14, 1999: Link arrives in Nerima.
Till next time!
