    Minor note: Yes, it does.
    And it makes you wish a horrible death onto the idiot who programmed it, 
too.  I only used it once, because I had hoped that it would convert a fic a 
friend had done into a format similar to the one she gave it to me in.  (For 
the record, it didn't, and my friend has since changed to a more easily 
converted format...)
    My advice is to save it in plain text format (*.txt) -- something you 
*can* do in Word '97 very easily (use Save As, there's a menu that lets you 
choose what format the document is saved in) -- and hope for the best.  That, 
or bribe a friend to do the conversion into HTML for you.
