My second songfic, not original this time! Seems like nighttime is when
my brain acutally wakes up. Hmm...Video songfic with the song from Key
the Metal Idol. See the disclaimer below before you decide to sue me or
flame me into oblivion.

Galaxy in My Hands

[Picture fades in of a young girl with dark brown hair and eyes to match.
She is staring straight ahead and dressed in a plain gray dress that
stops just above her ankles. She smiles at you as the music starts. She
draws in a deep breath as another girl enters the camera's view. She has
long black hair and is wearing a simple t-shirt and jeans ensomble. She
waves to the girl with brown hair and yells out to her, "Key!" Key holds
out her hand to her and starts to sing.]

Search across the sky
[The sun seems to rise up, but they aren't on the ground. The two girls
are standing on a plane of the sky. Clouds move past slowly under their
feet and Key smiles at her mouthing the words, "Sakura.]
Looking for love like stars in the night
That call me like faraway echoes of time
[Sakura runs up to Key and catches her hand just as they both fall down
through the clouds. Neither of them are worried as they fall and the
music continues behind them, hauntingly. Key hugs Sakura and then
disappears into thin air. The scene goes black and lights up again on
Key standing on a rose covered veranda, staring up at a stary night sky.]
So long I have watched and waited
For your love to come
[The stars assemble before her and form a picture of Sakura's face. She
smiles and reaches out to it.]
I see your face and the warmth of your touch
[The star picture becomes a real Sakura and she steps down off a pathway
of the glimmering gems to be with Key on the veranda. She hugs Key and
tells her to be a good girl.]
In the cold night
[Flashback to when the last time Key sees Sakura well. Sakura is holding
Key like a child and telling her about her father and how they might be
sisters. Only this time, Key looks up and smiles even though she is a
robot.]
As you whisper the words, I love you so
[Key floats away in a small blue bubble and lands on a rooftop
overlooking Tokyo at night.]
Now I dreamed it was true
As I wished on a star
[Key reaches out and holds a star clasped between her two hands.]
Only one wish could make my heart soar
[She opens her hands, but the camera can't see what's inside. She smiles
and closes her eyes.]
I have the world in my hands
[Her hands and eyes open simultaneously and a small earth floats out to
the sky.]
If I only had you here beside me
[Key closes her eyes and pictures Sakura.]
The world in my hands
And two hearts that are beating as one
[Sakura is suddenly there and they join hands as they walk off the
rooftop over the carpet of stars.]
As we sail through the night like two shining stars

[In Mimiyo Valley, Sakura and Key are young again and at school.]
Give my love to you
[Sakura walks over to say hi to Key and all she can do is stare blankly
back at her.]
No one can say what life leads us through
Together we�ll face every problem
[Now the're older and Key first sees Sakura back in Tokyo in the train
station.]
So long I have watched and waited
[The scene fades out as Sakura leans over to welcome Key to Tokyo.]
For your love to come
[Key is human again and laughing as she dances around the robot of Miho
Utsuse.]
I see your face and the warmth of your touch
[Sakura comes out and leads her away from the doll towards the real Miho.
Shuichi, Key's grandfather, and Mr. Wakagi are standing behind Miho.
Tsurugi, Key's mother, and grandmother are standing just to the right of
them. Sakura walks over to join them and Key follows her.]
In the cold night
As you whisper the words, I love you so
[Sakura turns around and holds Key's hand as they walk towards their
friends.]
Now my dream has come true and I know you�re my star
[Key looks up at Sakura, a look of pure happiness on her face.]
Only one wish could make my heart soar
[Once again she's on a rooftop, this time the Megaladome and holding a
glowing star. She opens her hands and a glass representation of the
world comes out.]
I have the world in my hands
[Sakura appears beside her and leans against her shoulder.]
Now I know that you�re always beside me
[The globe floats back and lands on Key's nose before slipping off and
coming to rest in her hands again.]
The world in my hands
[Key and Sakura watch everyone else appear and walk out of the shadows.
Shuichi comes and smiles at Sakura, while Key's grandfather pats Key on
the shoulder. "I'm proud of you," he says.]
And our two hearts are beating as one
As we sail through the night like two shining stars
[The stars burst out across the sky and the sun follows soon after. Now
the clouds are racing past them all as the sun bathes them in golden
light.]
The world in my hands
[Key turns to Sakura and waves her over. She leaves Shuichi and comes
over to her.]
Now I know that you�re always beside me
[Key holds out her closed hands and tells Sakura to pick one.]
The world in my hands
[Sakura points to one and as she does the globe comes out of that hand.]
And our two hearts are beating as one
As we sail through the night like two shining stars

[Key takes the globe and strings it on a wire of stars. She takes it and
places it around Sakura's neck.]

I see your face and the warmth of your touch
In the cold night
As you whisper the words, I love you so
[Sakura hugs Key and Key smiles at her. Just happy that she is happy.
Sakura walks over to Shuichi and everyone looks at Key as she stands
alone at the head of the group. As the music fades out she also starts
to fade and just as it stops, she dispels into hundreds of glowing
fireflies and takes off into the sky.]
