Let us begin by quoting the FAQ:

Spam polls: off-topic surveys that ask for on-list responses
Continuation of a thread that has been banned by the moderators
Portrayals of the murder of another author without permission
(yes, somebody actually did this).


I do not wish to condone the story which Mr. 'Shade' was attacking,
however, the murder of other authors in fiction posted on this list is
directly forbidden by the FAQ.  There are better ways in which you could
have expressed your disgruntlement than by depicting yourself committing
murder upon another member of our community, especially when this is
explicitly condemned in the FAQ.

'Shade' is now postbanned for the next week.
