Recently, in the latest chapter of Relentless, it was stated that Pantyhose's
curse differs from other Jusenkyo curses in that a new curse will combine with
the original instead of replacing it.  In Nature of the Curse, this difference
was stated as being caused by multiple creatures drowning in the spring at the
same tame, and any other "combo" curses would act the same way.  Hearts and
Minds took the opposite view, that all curses act like this and that,
therefore, a cure is impossible.

I would like to throw out another possibility, namely that whether a new curse
would merge with an existing one or replace it depends on the form that one is
in at the time the new curse is acquired.  In this view, Ranma could be cured
by jumping into SOD Man while in female form.  However, if he jumped in while
in male form, his cursed form would become that of a hermaphrodite.  Or,
perhaps, vise versa.  I can see arguments either way.

Does TOS offer evidence either way?  Does it ever show what form Pantyhose was
in when he used SOD Octopus to gain tenticles?  I do not believe that it shows
what form Ranma and Genma were in when they used the Instant SOD Man, but
please correct me if I'm wrong.

question, I'll summerize it in _one_ post.

I don't plan on using this anywhere in the series I'm working on now.  If
anyone else would like to use this idea in a fanfic, feel free.
