Don't expect anything great from this story. It's something I
dreamed up and felt I should write because I had nothing else to write.
It won't be good, it won't be bad, it will most likely be inbetween{And
that's what I thought when I wrote, When The Rose shatters. If you don't
know, that story sucked.} Well here's my latest work. Hope you like it!

WARNING: This is a dark fic. it contains religous and demonic themes. It
also had blood and murder. But not rape.

                                Chapter 1: The Necrotome.

The room held no trace of light. None entered from under the closed
door, and none came from the unlit candles. And in this darkness moved a
shadowy figure, trying to find the object of it's desires.
"My, my! What have we here? A thief I see." Said a masculine voice
behind it.
It quickly turned to see a figure blending in well with the shadows.
This figure was standing in the doorway, smiling at the intruder.
The figure shot his hand straight into the air. And with that a
magnificent light filled the room. The unlit torches bolted to the wall
now had yellow flames dancing on them. They cast no shadows on the wall
for neither the unknown figure or the intruder had a shadow.
The figure looked at the intruder and frowned. He didn't know who it
was for it had a shadow wall up. Masking it's feature's and making he or
she look like a three dimensional shadow. "I will ask you to leave and
not bother with the Necrotome. It will only bring misfortune."
The shadowy intruder looked around the small, square shape room. It
was about nine by nine foot. It was made of white limestone carved
finely with torches bolted to it. But what was important was the object
in the center. A white, marble pill. Elegantly designed it held up the
object of the shadow's desires. A large black book with a copper skull
on it as then seal. Not only did the seal close the book using magic,
but it also symbolized the ownership.
The shadowy figure shook it's head and drew a long sword from the
shadow that engulfed it. The sword was made of finely wrought iron
forged with great delicacy. The hilt was made of pure gold and incrusted
with red jewels. It was the weapon of a king. "It's mine. And I won't
hesitate in killing you to get it old man!"
The man in the doorway chuckled and he produced a red sword from
within his black robe's sleeve. The sword was almost exactly the same as
the shadow's sword but instead of a white metal blade, it had a black
jet blade. "I've been protecting the Necrotome for decades And I will
not give it up so easily."
The shadowy figure let slip a smile on it's face. The smile was but
a crimson line on the black figure. "So be it. On guard!"
And so the battle ensued. Each fighting with all their strength.
Sword met sword with lightning speed and skill. Blows were deflected and
parried but none found home. It was like a dance of blades as each
fought. It was impossible to tell who would win but the victor was soon
decided.
The shadow's blade found home. It pierced the robed man's heart,
spilling it's crimson content's onto the blade and the floor.
The man slumped to the floor and looked down at his own blood as it
flowed onto the floor. He then smiled and coughed up some blood. "That
will bring you to a bad end. You have sealed your own fate. No one
touch's the Necrotome without feeling it's curse." And then he died.
The shadow figure smiled and wiped the blood off it's blade with a
white cloth it pulled out of it's shadow wall. After the blade was clean
it placed it back in it's sheath which was hidden in the shadow.
It then grabbed the Necrotome from it's place on the pillar and was
off.......
"Hey! Come on, wake up!" Yelled a voice to the right of me.
With that I shot up and looked around. I saw the white desks and
white walls. I saw the blue curtains over the large window on the left.
I noticed the chalk board and the teacher's desk at the front of the
room. And I noticed all the student's sitting down at their desks,
looking through their books and socializing.
I then turned to look at the person sitting at his desk to the right
of me. This person who woke me up was Matthew, my best friend. He was
about six feet tall and rather chubby. He had dark brown eyes and short
brown hair. He wore a black te-shirt and slightly torn black jean's.
I picked up one of my binders of the desk and began to strike him
repeatedly. "Why did you wake me up damn you! I don't want to be awake
for school, I want to sleep through it!"
As Matthew tried to deflect blow's he answered. "Well class was
about to start and we are supposed to be getting a new student today.
Supposed to be a beautiful."
I stopped hitting him and put my binder back on my desk. I then
nodded my head slightly. "Okay. Well she better be beautiful otherwise
I'll have to continue hitting you."
Matthew nodded furiously, since he didn't want to get hit again, and
how could I blame him? Easily, that's how. "Now bow down and call me
master, peasant Matthew!"
Matthew bowed and then sunk to his knee's. "Yes my lord. I shall do
whatever you say."
I nodded again and hit him once more with my binder. "You better do
what I say!"
I then heard the sound of the old door opening. And I was not the
only one. Everyone quickly rushed to their desks at sat at them, trying
to look like they were ready to learn.
From outside the room Mrs. Anderson entered. She was very slim and
well built. She had short, light brown hair and light brown eyes. She
wore something that resembled a business suit except it had a sort of a
skirt going down a little past her knees. She was holding a binder in
her hand as she sat at her desk. She was only down there for a second
before she stood up again and cleared her throat. She then began to
speak, "Student's. We have someone new student here from Vancouver. She
just recently moved here so be nice. Say hello to Amy French."
Once Mrs. Anderson finished talking a teenager walked in. She was
almost six feet tall and well built. I have to say she was VERY well
built if you know what I mean. She wore a read shirt and long, torn blue
jeans. She had long, crimson red hair that extended down to her knees.
She was a goddess of sorts, the most beautiful woman I had ever seen!
But I was soon interrupted by Matthew poking me with his elbow in
the side. "Isn't this worth waking up for!"
I quickly nodded as my eyes drifted to wherever she walked. Which
was down through the rows of desks and to the back right corner of the
room. Which was really to bad. I wished she would sit next to me. Oh
well, maybe next time.
And so then home room began. But I didn't pay much attention to it. I
just day dreamed.........
"Are you sure you don't want to come to drama today?" Matthew asked
me.
I shook my head as I moved my book-bag to a more comfortable position
on my back. "No. I really don't feel like it today. We really did get a
lot of homework you know."
Matthew looked at me and blinked twice, he seemed to be in a kind of
shock. "You, do homework? You usually wait until the last minute and
get all ninety marks. While I slave hours and get seventies. How do you
do it?"
I shrugged my shoulders as I waited for my bus. "I cheat."
Matthew nodded and began to walk away. "I believe that. You get high
marks without work. All the girls want to go out with you. And all the
teacher's like you. Well see ya!"
I smiled and waved at him. "Ya, see ya!" And then he vanished into
the building. Maybe I should have went to Drama, but then I wouldn't see
her. I found out she travels on my bus, which is good. I had to talk to
her, if only I could muster the nerve to talk to her.
"I wonder what there doing at Drama? If there doing any play's
Matthew will definitely be the villain. He always likes being the
villain. I wonder why?" I then realized I was talking to myself and I
quickly shut up. Another ten minutes until the bus arrived. All I had to
do was wait.....
A black haired figure entered the room where then Necrotome once
lay. He sighed as he knew he was to late to steal, someone else got it
first. Probably a rival necromancer or some petty demon.
He then looked down at the blood covered corpse on the floor. It
seemed whoever had done this was a very powerful fighter, but a clumsy
mage. He left magic traces everywhere, and using this he could be
tracked. Just like following a trail of bread crumbs.
The man then walked into a shadow and vanished......
I walked down the center of the bus, passing person and empty seat.
I went all the way to the back where Amy sat. She was looking out the
window and clutching her book-bag.
I sat down on the seat to left, while she sat alone on the right. I
cleared my throat and looked at her, strengthening my will to talk. "Ah,
hello."
She slowly turned around to look at me, her eye's burning with a
sort of anger. "Shut up and get the hell away!"
I quickly did as she said. I got up and went to the front of the
almost empty bus. I sat down and tried to forget what just happened. But
I couldn't. I sighed and looked out the window myself. Thing's couldn't
get worse, could they?

Weird huh? Bad writing and a weird plot put together to make, a
MATTHEW MADDOCK'S FIC! {I'll try to do better writing in the next
chapter's, I really will! And this is not designed to be good, it's
designed to make me feel better because I'm back into writing after a
week or so. And if you like this story, your sick!
