2: Kasumi is OOC.
A: Kasumi has virtually no personality as portrayed in either manga or
anime. That's what makes her fun; you can really write her in any type
of situation without going OOC.
Not true at all. Except for some weird aberrations in volume 1, she's
been portrayed quite consistently. What she *doesn't* do is as much a
part of her character as what she *does.*
That's not to say that people can't change... but when a character's
behavior radically alters, you need to show a plausible *reason* for why
it happens.
3: Akane is OOC (and unnecessarily vicious).
A: I suppose that my anti-Akane prejudice is showing through (at 5 a.m.?
What was there to stop it?). I don't like Akane. Takahashi-sama says
that Ranma and Akane are destined to be together, but aside from Akane
having a major personality overhaul, I don't think it would be a good
idea.
Your character biases are your own business... but when said biases are
adversely affecting a fic, it's legitimate for people to point that out,
and you would do well to listen.
