umm.... interesting, lacks a plot, doesn't really make alot
of sense but is
a good read at 3:06 in the morning...

true, but if you'd read the original story you'd see why
this HAD to be written. you go up to those sites and there's
hundreds of megs of stories with the same "plotline" and are
generally quite flat. Sifting through tons of gravel for the
speck of gold gives you sympathy for those California miners
in all the Wells Fargo commercials. (That, and whenever i'm
despondent about my own lack of talent in writing, i can
always go to Fictionmania or one of the other sites and at
least take comfort in my ability to spell. Well, mainly.)
i tried to address each of the major "problem plot points" i
have with the genre and do it in an amusing/entertaining
fashion without being too harsh on the original writer.
As always with my efforts, this is just meant to amuse. If
it has brought even momentary entertainment to someone in
this cycle-of-drudgery we call life, then it's served the
purpose. Just don't expect Higher Meanings and Grand Epics.
i leave stuff like that to Krista Perry, Zen, and
(particularly if he ever writes a non-Akane-fan fic) SKJAM.
