I seem to remember a while ago someone wrote a story where Ranma married
each one of his fiance's in turn, then after a while divorced them.  He
married Akane first they had kids and when they started having problems he
left her and married Ukyou.  He was with Ukyou for a while and had the
mentioned problems and divorced her and married Shampoo.  In the Amazon
village he became a male symbol and trouble maker.  He left Shampoo with
her consent taking their son with him and remarried Akane.  Its very
similar to idea 8.
