 The Universe of the Fifth God - 00

                "When the stars are aligned, and the last Miko has made her final wish; the path to the sky shall be opened, heralding the coming of the Fifth God.the Priestess of Sky shall soon be awakened, signaling the coming of the New Age."

 Prologue:

                 Dawn greeted Japan with a silent yet graceful entrance; the sun rising above the horizon as clouds slowly drifted by in an aimless journey. Cherry Blossom petals blew past as the wind carried them from one place to another, masking the streets with a beautiful pink blanket.

                 Ranma tipped back his head to stare up the huge building standing in front of him. "It's huge," he murmured as he looked on, barely noticing the passersby staring at him. A sigh escaped his lips as he slowly entered the building, nodding to the bookkeepers as they said 'Welcome to the National Library'. Taking in the large amount of books and readers in the library, he quickly made his way up the western stairs, a wrinkled piece of paper scrunched up in his fist.

                "That old letch better be right," he whispered to himself as he stealthily snuck into one of the rooms indicated in the little map Happousai had given him. A mental picture of Happy appeared,

                * "In that room in the National Library of Japan lays the key to your cure, Ranma m'boy. This will lead you to a land where the water you seek is." * 

His eyes squinting, Ranma waited until he got accustomed to darkness. Literally hundreds of books lined the walls of the room, most seeming as if a thousand years old. *Wonder what all these are.* He stared at his map and headed to the farthest corner of the room. Suddenly, he spotted a slight glowing at the far shelf. Ranma cautiously approached it and carefully took out the glowing book, gently turning it in his hands. *Is this it.? A book.? Well, duh, Ranma, why would the old man make you look for it in the library. Hmph, well.it's worth a shot, I guess. * With that in mind, he quickly exited the room, making sure he handled the book with utmost care for it seemed so ancient that its edges had a yellowish tinge. Hiding it, he snuck out the National Library and went on his way to the station. Finally reaching the train to Nerima, Ranma sat in the corner, propping the book on his lap. A sigh once again escaped his lips as he read, " 'The Universe of the Four Gods.' "
