Well... My first fanfic of sorts.  I don't know what possessed me to write
this, or what I'm going to do with it, but this just sort of came to me

and I

had to write it.  C&C and even flames are welcome.

Well, to be perfectly honest...

Ranma fanfics in which a wish or a cure backfires and leaves Ranma stuck
permanently in female form are a dime a dozen. The concept is beyond
cliche.

That's not to say that an interesting fanfic can't be written using this
concept. Many authors are talented enough to take a cliche and give it a
new spin.

Unfortunately, I just don't see that happening here. There just isn't any
hook in your teaser. It's pure formula. "Ranma makes a wish on a magic
talisman for a cure, the talisman sticks Ranma in female form." Ho hum.
Been there, done that.

So I ask you: what's the hook? What's the catch? What is going to make this
different from the four hundred ninety-seven million other 'Ranma gets
stuck' fics out there?

If you have something in mind that's unique and different, then by all
means, go for it. If you don't have a solid hook, I suggest abandoning the
idea in favor of something else, or brainstorming to come up with a better
hook.
