The Elite Four Start
Note:  This is how the Elite Four was formed.This is my first Fanfic so
don�t judge it too harshly.

" I have the strongest Pokemon team." said Lance confidently. " I must
say your Pokemon are exceptionably strong." said Dr. Oaks. Lance had
been training his Pokemon from a very early age, now after all that
training he was the most powerful trainer in the Pokemon League. "
Dr.Oaks, I want to create a team of four Pokemon trainers, they must
have all 30 badges and a team of at least 5 Pokemon above L.55. This
team will be the most powerful team ever!" cried Lance. " That seems
like a good idea after all only three other people beside you have all
30 badges." Dr.Oaks said. "Do you have anyone else in mind, Lance?" 
"No one else but the best." Lance said with a faint smile. "Then good
luck Lance, their is nothing else I can help you on. But here take this
Dragonair I know dragons are your favourite type of Pokemon." Dr.Oak
said as he handed Dragonair to Lance. "Thanks Dr.Oaks, I will be back
soon." 
"Bye Lance." Lance left Dr.Oaks lab and walked around he stopped to see
two boys about 9 arguing. " You see Ash I am going to be the most
powerful trainer ever and you are just a sad jerk!" 
"Look who is talking Gary, only cause your grandfather is Dr.Oaks. You
do not need to brag that you are going to be a trainer." Lance
remembered that Dr.Oaks had a grandson, so this was Gary Oaks. Lance
looked at the other boy, he heard Gary call him Ash. Lance thought for
a second, yes he remembered now, Ash Catchum. Dr.Oaks told him about
Gary and Ash and how they were good friends and that Ash seemed like a
talented Pokemon trainer.To Lance it seemed that Gary hated Ash. Lance
snapped back into reality just to see the boys turn and go in opposite
directions. Why should he care what happened to those kids, they will
never defeat him. Lance threw one of his pokeballs on the ground,
Aerodactyl came out."Aero Aerod tyl"{ Where are we going Lance?}  
"We are looking for the three people who have all 30 badges."Lance
replied. " Aer Ae Aerodac" {Looking for a new challenge?} 
"Not exactly Aerodactyl, which way should we head?"  
"Aero aero aerodactyl yl"{ I heard of a powerful trainer in Pokemon
Tower.}
"Great let�s go! Aerodactyl Fly!"  As they headed to Lavender Town
(which is where the Pokemon Tower is) Lance remembered when he was
younger. He remember his parents had died when he was little. The first
Pokemon he had was a Dratini, cute and playful by now it was a fully
grown Dragonite with a powerful Hyper Beam. Lance had liked dratini he
captured two other Dratinis, they were not Dragonites yet but were very
powerful Dragonairs. In one of his travels he traded one of his
Dragonairs for a Gyardos, Lance could not believed such a strong
Pokemon could evolve from a useless Magicarp. His last acquired
Pokemon, Aerodactyl was the hardest to get. There were two ways to get
an Aerodactyl, you could find the old amber and take it to Cinnbar Lab
or to go to a secret cave where ancient Pokemon lived. It prove to be
quite a challenge but Lance succeeded and captured Aerodactyl. Lance
remembered that his father taught him that Dragon Pokemon were the most
powerful. So he had looked all over the place for Dragon-type Pokemon.
"Aero tyl rod" { We are here.} Aerodactyl said as he landed next to the
Poke Center. Aerodactyl brought Lance back to reality. "Um yeah, thank
you. Aerodactyl return!" Lance said as Aerodactylgot sucked back into
his pokeball. Lance walked along the houses of Lavender Town. Now that
he was here he might well go visit Agatha. Agatha had taken care of him
ever since his parents died. He had not seen her in a very long time.
Lance congratulated himself for his great ideas as he made his way
towards Agatha�s house and knocked on the door. No one answered. 
"Strange, Agatha!" Lance called into the air, he pushed the door and it
opened. "Agatha!" Lance made his way around the house and stopped to
see one of Agatha�s pictures it was of small Lance, her and Dr.Oaks.
Lance picked it up for a closer look,strange there was someone else in
this pictured. Lance leaned forward to see.  When he finally recognised
the person he dropped it in shock,a tear rolled down his cheek as he
bend down to pick it up.He shacked his head to try and get the image
out of his head.After a few minuites he relaxed and went on wandering. 
Agatha had a..um a crush on Dr.Oaks but she now hated him, Lance didn�t
know why. " I�ll just borrow her Silph Scope." He went outside and
headed to Pokemon Tower. After a while of wandering inside he found a
ghost, the Silph Scope started to work. "It�s the ghost of a Scyther,
great just what I needed!" Lance said with a complaining
tone."Dragonair go!" Dragonair came out."Dragon Rage!" 
"Dra dra on" { All right, lets fight} Scyther got hit and vanished. "
Good work Dragonair, Dragonair return!" Lance said as Dragonair
returned to his pokeball. "Good work kid" a voice said."I spented
serval months trying to get rid of the ghost." Just then an old lady
stepped out of the shadows. "Agatha!" Lance cried happily. "Well if it
ain�t dragon boy, I am so happy to see you! Where is Hotaru?" Agatha
said and then paused at that last question.Agatha just remembered
Hotaru was gone. Lance remained silent. "Come on lets get out."Agatha
said calmly. Within a minute they were out of Pokemon Tower and in
Agatha�s living room. Agatha went to prepare some tea and chocolat chip
cookies. Lance sat quietly in the living room, he was thinking about
Hotaru. She was very special to him, they grew up together, she was
also an orphan. Tall and thin with dark purple hair and eyes, they had
also started their pokemon journey together, she died shortly after he
won the Earth Badge.  As Agatha prepared the tea she peeked to see
Lance stare at a picture even though she was far away, Agatha knew that
picture was the one of her, Lance, Dr.Oaks and Hotaru. Agatha came back
from the kitchen she had a tray with two cups of tea and a plate of
cookies. She sat down on the couch opposite to Lance. "You can keep the
picture if you want." Lance looked up at Agatha but did not speak a
word."It was not your fault, the storm was strong and the ship
sanked...there was nothing you could have done." All the tears Lance
had hold back just went down, Agatha stood up and went to give Lance a
hug."Agatha,why her? She was a good person...she always helped..."Lance
said as he cried."Lance listen, if she was here I am sure she would
want you to be happy.Now come it is late and you better get some rest."
Lance nodded but before going he picked the picture up and bought it
upstairs with him. He and Agatha prepared his bed. After they said
goodnight Lance went to have a bath and then before he went to bed he
put the picture on the table next to him. That night Lance had a bad
dream.
[ DREAM ]
A girl with purple hair cut down to her shoulders and purple eyes,
wearing a short white dress with a purple ribbon with long laces at the
back and knee high white boots is waving."Hurry Lance I don�t want to
miss the ship. We have to celebrate that you have all 30 badges." Just
then Lance appeared he is wearing a pair of jeans and a official
Pokemon league T-shirt."Hold your horse besids I am the one carring the
bags."The girl giggles and grabs her bag off Lance. "That is much
better what do you carry in that bag anyway?"Lance said in a teasing
tone.The girl giggles again and takes out two tickets.She waves them in
front of Lance and then reads:"First Class" 
"Wow Hotaru how did you ever manage to get those?"Lance asked
puzzled."I was planning on coming here a long time ago."Hotaru said
They made their way across the crowd and got on. They found their
cabins and went in.Lance walks around the room, he then looked at his
Pokeballs and lets Dragonite out."Drag Drag on it iteite"{ Man this
room is big!} Lance laughs softly."Um Dragon what should I do about
Hotaru, I mean do I tell her now or wait some more time?"Lance said
with a worried smile. "Dra dragon nite nite ite ite dra"{To be honest
you must tell her when you feel it is the right time.} "Okay then I
will ask her out to dinner and then tell her."Lance said  Just then
there is a knock on the door."Come in!"Lance shouts. Hotaru comes in
and then dragonite makes kissing sounds."Shut up Dragon or no more
twinkies." Lance said sternly. Hotaru giggles and pets Dragon gently.
When Hotaru is not looking Dragon sticks his tongue at Lance. "Lance,
would you like to have dinner in half an hour?"Hotaru asks."Sure then
I�ll see you in the restaurant in half an hour." Hotaru nods then
leaves."Dra dra dragon nit nite"{Smooth move she was the one to ask you
out.} Dragon that was not funny what if she does not like me
back?"Lance said in a sad tone."Dra drag gonite nite rag"{I think she
likes you,now you better go get ready."Lance took out a black suit and
a proper white shirt, after taking a long bath he got dressed and
headed to the restaurant. Lance headed upstairs and he did not like
what he saw, it was Hotaru all right she looked beautiful, she was
wearing a long purple dress and a choker with a silver horse on it.
What Lance did not like was that she was talking to a guy tall with
short brown hair, he was also wearing a black suit and to Lance opinion
he was flirting with Hotaru and he did not like that. Just then Hotaru
noticed Lance and waved but Lance feeling miserable ignored her, Hotaru
sensing something was wrong said bye to the guy and walked towards
Lance. Lance turned and walked the other way Hotaru called him, but he
just ignored her. She caught hold of his arm and he pulled it out hard.
Hotaru lost her balance and fell, Lance imidiately turned around to
help Hotaru up, he had just screw it up. As he help her up she saw her
eyes they showed confusion and sadness. "I�m sorry.."They both said in
unison and then Hotaru gave Lance a hug. "Let�s go to dinner."Lance
said with a smile.They walked into the restaurant and had a fun time.
They even danced, they were having a great time. After they finished
they went to the deck.The moonlight provided a wonderful
illumination.Music from the inside relaxed them and they started
dancing.Lance felt this was the time, as he open his mouth to tell her
a loud bang was heard."What the hell,the ship! It is sinking!"Lance
said alarmed.This will have to wait Lance thought.Hotaru and Lance made
their way back into their room to get their pokemon, they meet in front
of the restaurant."The storm is getting worse by the minuit"Hotaru
said. They made their way to Lance�s room and the door closed behind
him."We are stuck!"Lance said.The water got higher and higher.They
manage to escape from the ship by using the window.Lance took dragonair
out but he could not catch Hotaru.
 [Few hours later]
 Lance walks up in the beach he calls Hotaru but no answer. Dragonair
comes up to him and explained he could not catch Hotaru as well."No,
she can�t be dead..no!" 
[END OF DREAM]
 Lance woke up suddenly.Lance remember what Agatha had told him.He will
be the best!As he got dressed he remembered it was Hotaru who bought
him that cape,he promised her he will always wear it. Agatha was
waiting with breakfast on the table.Agatha decided to start talking.
"So what brings you here young Lance? Surely not to visit me." 
"Well now that I was here I decided to visit you. But I came here
because of the rumour that one of the three people who has all 30
badges lives around here"Lance said as he munched on a cookie.  "Oh I
see, for what reason will you be looking for her?"
"You see  Agatha I want to create a team......" The whole story just
poured out and by the time Lance was finished Agatha was smiling like a
kid on Christmas morning. "So I was looking for the other three
trainers that had all badges and I was wondering if you knew something
about this trainer?" 
"Sure I do, that trainer is me!"  Lance starred at Agatha with his
mouth open wide. After a long pause he said "Would you like to join the
team?" 
"Yes, it has been a long time since I used Pokemon for fighting." 
"Good were do we go next?" 
"I know the other trainer, her name is Lorelei she trained with me. She
hangs around Seafoam Island." Agatha told him as they made their way
out of Lavender Town. "Dragonair Surf!" Lance shouted as he and Agatha
got on Dragonair�s head and surfed to Seafoam Island. When they arrived
a voice called out, "Who dares enter Seafoam island? Prepare to fight!
Dewgong go! Dewgong Ice Beam!" 
"Dew dew" { Here we go!} Lance was about to use Gyardos when Agatha
called out to him "Dragons are weak against ice, let me handle this.
Gengar go!" Gengar came out and got hit by Dewgong�s ice beam. "Gengar
Dream eater!" "Gang ar" {Ok } Dewgong got hit. "Dewgong Body slam"
Dewgong used the attack but it did not affect Gengar. Gengar used Night
Shade and Dewgong avoided the attack and used Aurora beam.Gangar got
hit and stood up angry.It laughed and attacked, Gangar disappeared
suddenly Dewgong got lifted in the air by an unseen force and was
banged against a rock until it fainted. "Dang! you have won and can go
through." 
"Who are you?" asked Lance. "I am Lorelei, Mistress of Ice Pokemon and
you are?" 
"My name is Lance and this is Agatha." 
"I remember you Agatha, you trained me. It has been a very long time!"
Lorelei said with a sly grin. "Lance and I are looking for the people
who have all 30 badges and since you are one of the four people, would
you like to join the team?" Agatha said. "I would be very honoured,
besides I know were the last person is, his name is Bruno and he trains
at MT.Moon" Lorelei declared. "Great!"yelled Lance exitedly. "Lance
take out Aerodactyl." Agatha said. "Ok, Aerodactyl go!" shouted Lance.
"Aerodactyl fly!" Soon they were nearing Cerulean City when Lance said
"Aerodactyl land near the Poke Mart"  
"What for?" Lorelei asked impatiently. "I need some escape ropes, just
in case." answered Lance. As Lance entered the Poke Mart, Agatha leaned
forward and whispered to Lorelei."I see you like Lance, don�t deny it,I
am old but not blind or stupid."
"How did you know? I am a good actress."Lorelei answered surprised.
"Well to me it seems pretty clear, be thankful Lance is stupid enough
not to notice.""Why? Eventually I want him to know..."
"I would not waste my time with him." 
"Why not?"Lorelei questioned suddenly very interested in the subject.
As Agatha got ready to answer Lance came out. "So ready to go?" Lance
asked. Lance lead the way and Lorelei smiled sweetly as he told her
about his adventures. Agatha just had an idea, it would be great if
Lance and Lorelei had a relationship. It would help Lance forget
Hotaru. Agatha smiled as she saw Lorelei trying her best to look pretty
and elegant to impress Lance. Agatha whispered to Lorelei."I�ll help
you"  After what it seemed ages they entered MT.Moon. "This way, I
remember Bruno trains in a hidden chamber at the far east of the cave."
Lorelei said. Agatha leaned back and whispered to Lance. "You know
Lorelei she is pretty and seems to like you,Lance open your eyes."
Lance was thinking, Lorelei likes him?   Agatha warned "Be careful of
the holes." 
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" The three of them fell down the hole. "Ouch, get
off me!" a voice yelled. "Sorry." apologised Lance. "I said look out
for holes." Agatha complained. "Bruno? is it really you?" Lorelei said.
"Lorelei? Wow! it is you. But tell me what brings you to the deepest
part of MT.Moon?" "We have been looking for you, this is Lance and she
is Agatha."  
"And we came all the way here to ask you if you want to join our team."
Lance said. "Well it sounds interesting,but please do explain
everything." Agatha watched everything quietly, she had this funny
feeling Hotaru was alive somewhere yes!, Agatha could feel her physic
power, it was overwhelming. No! she would not tell Lance,never. It was
better to leave everything as it is."I accept."Bruno said "Yahoo!, the
team is complete"Lance said. "Dr.Oaks, I�m back!" shouted Lance. "Lance
I see you have formed a wonderful team." said Dr.Oaks. He turned around
to face Agatha, Bruno and Lorelei. "So what are you going to call your
team?" Lance thought for a second. "There is four of us, um we are
elite Pokemon trainers, yes I got it! We are the Elite Four!" Agatha,
Bruno, Lorelei and Dr.Oaks smiled and agreed. "We are the Elite four!"
Lance, Agatha, Bruno, and Lorelei shouted "The Elite Four!!!"
