People, the symbol/diagram/thingummy that pops up when they're identifying 
an angel/blue pattern (you know, the tangled thingy, like some string) ISN'T 
a DNA thing.

It's a HAEMOGLOBIN molecule.

I should know- I've had to look at the bloody things often enough in Protein 
classes. (Basic starter for protein formation lessons.)

Actually, this raises an interesting thought...

Sometimes the pattern is referred to as the blood pattern.

Red oxygenated blood requires iron as the prosthetic group.

Blue does turn up in nature.

In Lobsters.

The prosthetic group in that is copper...

I kid you not.
