A strange idea I've been kicking around since I read Mark Latus'
Guyver-Ryoga stories. Also, the suggestions I got when I proposed my
Spiderman idea shaped this lates foray into stupidity.

        What if, one day, Gosunkugi discovers a Guyver unit? A rogue Zoanoid
scientist steals a case containing the Guyver units, in an attempt to get
them out of Kronos' hands. The scientist gets cornered by a canal in Nerima
by a crack team of Zoanoids sent to retrieve the units at any cost. Trapped,
the scientist transforms and fights a Gregole-type Zoanoid.
        Being inferior, the scientist is easily smacked around, and Gregole
reclaims the Guyvers. For the moment. Not about to give in so easily, the
dying scientist detonates a small explosive. The other Zoanoids, save the
Gregole, leap clear of the blast radius. However, the Scientis is killed,
the Gregole is damaged, and the Guyvers are scattered.

        Enter Gosunkugi, who happens to be walking home much later than
usual, due to the fact that four of the local bullies decided to rough him
up. As he's mulling over his rotten luck, he hears the explosion nearby. As
he's wondering what happened, one of the Guyver units narrowly misses his
head. If you've seen the Out Of Control OAV, the anime, or read the manga,
you know what happens next.

        If I pursue this, I would probably use elements from the Guyver OAV,
anime, and manga. Also, it could be interesting to see what Gosunkugi does
with power that would allow him to literally crush Nerima's best martial
artists, and face an enemy that will test that power to its utmost.

        Do any of you have any suggestions, comments, questions, marriage
proposals, or death threats? I'd like to hear them, if you think I should
run with this.
